Received this from a "lurker" ;)

New Order are interviewed in this months Rip and Burn Magazine. Its kind of like the Q cash for questions section only the questions are much better (I'm only saying that cos mine was the last one asked, ha, ha. Seriously though they cover the songwriting process, Murder, why they don't play Thieves Like Us live anymore, caning it in your late 40's (my question), how pretentious Peter Saville is and loads of others. I'd love to scan it for you but I don't have a scanner, sorry about that but i'm sure someone will be able to do it for you. I don't post on the site (excellent site BTW)but I always check the boards out.

Yup, got the Burn magazine - a much better group picture than we've previously seen (and pretty big too), and some very funny answers to the questions.

If I get time, I'll scan it in! :)

Rip & Burn - hadnt heard of it before this.

Is it a music or computer rag?

Is it worth shelling out for the interview?

Actual magazine is called "Rip & Burn" - yeah, not a bad interview - I'll try and scan it all in when I get a spare moment (might be this weekend).

Anybody else from NI know if you can get it here? Or is it only available on the mainland?

They talk about Murder?.Now that sounds way more interesting.I`ve always wanted to know more about that track.

I shelled out for Q but in the future i wiil just wait for interviews to be scanned and put up one here.Much cheaper.

Brilliant read, funny as fuck some of the answers, they are answering people's text message questions. If no-one's scanned it by Monday, I will put it up here:thumb:

*resisting temptation to curse wildly*

Ireland, the island, is not part of Britian. Hence you are on the Mainland already.

Hey! I'll have to buy the mag now! - one of my questions is in it:D

I notice they weren't asked if they would do a gig in my back garden, oh well:skeptic:

That was the guy - Mat Snow(?) who was on this site about a month ago looking for us to email him questions. Just goes to show - we should come up with the questions for all their interviews:thumb:

OMG... Bernard slagging off the Japanese lyrics of Still

"This is why cigars defeat me" is a good opener for Ceremony, isn't it? :D

"we're doing a world tour of two dates" :(

Actually maybe i WILL buy the mag.Leaning forward to squint at the tiny text on the screen is not quite the same as sitting back in the armchair for a good read!

Burn is a magazine geared towards the latest/best music to DOWNLOAD is it not?.Hmmmm.. now im sure the band dont want WFTSC downloaded ,well not just yet anyway!

This interview is way better than Q's one. I think it's the first time we have a confirmation from someone in the band that Barney and Hooky swaped instruments in "Atrocity Exhibition". And, as usual, Steve looks amazingly funny in the picture.

Which question? Fair play.

Hooky's getting confused - surely he means the 1989 (not '1990') American tour. And Barney says Hooky wrote the £100,000 sign for the Sunkist ad but in the NO Story he says it was Rob?

Nick King, thanks for the scan!:thumb:

BTW, is that all, the end looks sort of abrupted.

Thanks for the article, a good read! Q & A ones that were interesting were the questions about if Ian Curtis was alive would NO be what they are now? And the whole Factory collapse, Tony Wilson and Peter Saville. Also the near death experiences.
