After a week offline its good to see Nanne Vissers post. And i coulnt agree more . Why bother... But if i have to make a pick: Blue Monday, true faith, temptation,decades,24 hours. I was explaining at my job why i was taking all this time off to go to concertts of New Order...people my age who could even have known about JD,just raised their eyebrows..never heard of New Order????? So indeed why bother.

Temptation (either '82 or '87), that should do the trick

as for JD, the first track that got me hooked was She's Lost Control, so I'd go with that

Or "leaving on a jet plane" ? :D :D :D

Play the perfect kiss for them...

if they don't get how fooking brilliant the order is after that...they just don't have any taste, and don't deserve to listen to such wonderful music...

the perfect kiss is the correct answer. this song 'perfect'ly encapsulates the essence of new order. it's good without being too catchy or pop sounding (crystal, regret) and it's mid-period classic material. the long instrumental crecendo near the end screams NEW ORDER!!!! If they like this, it's a good bet they'll also like early and later albums. Coen - Jeff claim your prize at the hacienda july 20 1983.

THE FUCKING RUN-OFF GROOVE ON ALL THEIR 12-INCHERS OF COURSE - (IF THEY'RE SO FUCKING IGNORANT OF NEW ORDER THEN THAT'S THE BEST THE FUCKERS DESERVE....)
