Does anyone have any creative guesses as to what the 7 songs "locked in the vault" sound like?

1 will sound like Perfect Kiss 1 will sound like Blue Monday 1 will sound like Ceremony 1 will sound like Vanishing Point 1 will sound like Temptation 1 will sound like Age of Consent 1 will sound like Regret

so finally all the "fans" will quit bitching about the new stuff not being "classic new order" or not synthy enough or not Experimental or Groundbreaking. in fact, the new album will be called Substance!

My guess (and hope) is that the 7 songs they locked away are much better than anything they put on WFTSC.

Regardless of whats been said, the chance of another album 'soon' is bollocks. By time they get round to another album (if ever),the songs will probably be scrapped. Its more likely they will appear on the next couple of singles that follow Krafty.

So little faith...

There's a reason why they don't use them as b-sides, it's because the label judge it was good enough to do another album with it... they just need to do 3 songs over the next YEAR or so, it's not like they will be busy a lot this summer if they only do 3 or 4 dates.. (so far!)

Not good enough to make it onto this album but good enough for another album?

What is this, another "Rest Of"?

how about a Double- disc set?

it does make you wonder how they choose these 11 songs and left the 7 others for the next? are they different and didn't fit (WFTSC is already very diverse)? do they sound similar, so were left off because the sound too much the same? or are they just "almost" as good?

Steve is right....these will be on singles, most likely. Next album? 2008, if ever...

Damnit won't there be ones that sound like BLT or Vanishing Point?? :nonono:

I think they're just getting ahead of the curve by tucking away some bonus tracks for the 2030 WTFTSC 25th anniversary rerelease.

I just consider those 7 songs part of their life insurance policy. In this age of Tupac, leave something around for your dependents to live off of once you're gone.

They will all sound like State of the Nation blended with The Art of Parties and Feel Every Beat.

It took them 4.5 year to write and release 18 songs, so 7 songs will probably take 1.75 year.  I wouldn't expect anything new before 2 years from now.

I can't quote Spotnick's message. I always get an empty message. That drives me crazy

I thought you had no idea how the songs sound like, hence the blank posts.
