To answer a question raised elsewhere:

Noel is the only one sitting down & looking glum because he knows that he will never, ever be that good. Even on a bad night, the ORDER kick ass all over Oasis. He knows it.

They don't have the songs, ideas, class or the balls to contend with a band like New ORder.

Maybe it just hit him - right there at that moment.

Noel: Once a twat, always a twat.

Cosmo, I think the same when I saw the scene. He must be thinking: "I will never be that good..." :baby:

Didn't you mean LIAM?

I thought Noel (He's just about OK) was standing while Liam (He's the twat) was being the miserable B*stard. He was sat to the left of Barnard.

Was that Barney running off to take a piss when McCartney/Eavis went to collect the statue?

The real question is why the camera was focused on the twat in the first place. Also if anyone noticed a man named Paul Jarvis is on the camera crew. Maybe Al's brother has an Oarses fetish. :evil4:

I think Noel is funny, and like Oasis or not he has genuine talent. Pity he has to bring John, sorry Liam along for the ride!

I think Noel is a fan of the Order actually. Goes to their gigs

Noel is a sort of fan, but I think he always saw New Order as an 80s band, while he tried to launch the new Beatles. But now he can clearly see it: Oasis have had their success with their retro pub rock, but New Order are a timeless band, and they're also the only true new Beatles! They're the only band with that talent for tunes and sounds and inventiveness...
