That reminds me, there's a web page where you can copy and paste text into it and it will analyze it and tell you if the author's a man or woman with 75% accuracy.

Ah, computers. The way of the future...

Oi, that's fighting talk matey :evil4: and you presume wrong. Sorry to burst anyone's bubble, but no I'm not a "chick". I'm 100% Scottish bloke and next time I sign up for a New Order site I should probably make a gender announcement! "Ally" is quite a common nickname in the UK for Alistair or the various other spellings of my first name but I do understand in the rest of the world it's reserved (strangely) for women only (Alison etc.) Other nicknames I'm referred to include Al, Ali (different spelling but the same, more Middle Eastern), Bastard, Twat etc. :D It should be noted the "legendary" (look away Shug) ex-Rangers footballer Ally McCoist is an international example of the shortening of my name so I feel completely comfortable in my masculinity. Who would dare call him a lady??

Yeah I'm sitting in my kilt at the moment in my half ruined castle eating haggis and talking in the "Hoots Och Aye The Noo" dialect. I'm just about to paint some blue stripes on my face and head out to hunt Haggis too and maybe battle the English for my independance later if there's time before Uni. Et cetera. I look like Mel Gibson too :evil4: Or if you're a more educated American :D I live in a council high rise, spout uncanny observations of modern life and shoot up heroin whilst listening to "Ziggy Pop" :evil4: Any other stereotypes I've forgotten? Ummmm...

I dunno, but there's definitely an air of "The governor's refused your final appeal and the electric chair awaits" in Hooky's eyes.

My wife Lorraine likes 'em too. Not as much as she idolises the Schmithz but thanks to me she's now become a big NO fan. The only trouble is, we argue a lot over them cos she always likes completely different songs to me. Bloody typical wimmin eh? Always trying to be awkward and contrary. Mind you, she ain't so keen on Echo & The Bunnymen (my fave band of all time) however so at least when I start spouting off about Mac the Mouth she shuts up. My dog Marbles howls along to the Killing Moon - I wish I could upload a quick movie of him doing this. :)

Have to agree with your wife there :) The Smiths are top dog compared to Ian McCullough and his lackeys. The Bunnymen always seem unlistenable to me but perhaps I haven't given them a proper chance. I'll look out a CD sometime. Mind you, I thought old Mac's bizarre sponsorship of 'Oldplay' during their last album was a bit cynical, as if he was trying to sell a few more solo albums by saying "Hey look the kids dig me". Stuff like Chris Martin recording Clocks wearing Mac's coat reeked of desperation a bit. Oldplay aren't even very good; same old same old.

The reputation is yours if you want it. Better for me that we DON'T ask the women of NOOl who the biggest arse is.

Hey... "The Women of NOOL".... sounds like a great idea for a calendar. :thumb:

Ooops, I've done it again! :ignore:

:evil4:

Of course, they'd probably rather we had an "arses of NOOL" calendar.

Just to have a good larff.

Hi I'm another female NO fan, but I don't post much.

BTW Ally, I have to ask, do you have a pet bagpipe spider? You did miss one or two Scottish stereotypes. You may want to review the old Goodies episode of hunting the Loch Ness Monster for tips!
