I believe that having sex with the one you love is called "emotion in motion", there is nothing in this world that compares to it.

Masturbation then?
Yeah (I like this definition), motion for sport is good, but emotion in motion is better and you need nothing else... ![]()

The "emotion in motion" quote comes from Mae West (i think) who new a lot about these things.
To be honest, I think it's a general issue. I've participated in about 10+ forums over the year, sports, bands, and some general news related forums, and the preponderance of posters seem to usually be men. Maybe because men rarely get tired of expressing their opinions? :D I don't know, i have found some that have more women members (the earth children's forum for fans of Jean Auel's series of books), but that's a rarity. It's unfortunate as it can make forums a bit one dimensional. I hope all the ladies here continue to post their perspectives and analysis on any and all things New Order :).
I'm female
when it comes to music men and women arn't that different in their opinions but i think women spend less time on computers... all that maintainence, constantly preening themselves to look good and smell great...
sorry i forgot we're supposed to be talking about music...
really enjoyed reading the stuff about Ally too, if you were a chick you'd be a TOP CHICK!
wow, can't believe I just read all that!
I'm a girl too! I've only gotten into posting when I found out that new order wasn't coming to Canada ![]()
and I definitely can't afford to go to the states..poor little student budget that I have :(
I haven't posted that much because most of the time ppl are talking about this version or that version of a song, and I just don't remember all these things - my brain is filled to the brim from school, so every so often I have to 'throw out' some excess..hehe
However I do visit the site just about every day!
any other Canadian chicks out there? I've seen a fair number of Canadian guys..
:)
I've never been to a concert.... what's the ratio of girls to guys at a typical US New Order concert? UK? I think that might be more reflective (although, some will just be along as a date) than an internet forum.
You can count me in as well. I'm old enough to have seen NO a number of times in '82-84. Have just started listening to them again after many years - mid-life crisis perhaps?

hehe, I'm not offended, in fact, I agree with you to a certain extent! ![]()
There certainly is cock! I've been a New Order fan since i was 16 (now 32 - but don't look it!). Substance has been in my car for years and it gets played all the time. I also own loads of boxed sets.
Absolutely love Joy Division too. My claim to fame is i approached Bernard Sumner in Peruvia nightclub in Manchester about 8 years ago and told him i'd named my parrot after him. He looked at me a bit strange - i wonder why?
Saw New Order for first time ever at the Move Festival two years ago (beltin!) and am determined to make it to Hyde Park to hear them play their new album.
