*Half Dutch speaking here... my father was from Eindhoven and I was born in Breda, but my mother is Italian and my family movede here when I was just one year old so never learnt the language. Always spoke English with my relatives (mostly based in Limburg in the Roermond area)... Where is Purmerend? Never heard of that town...

wow, some more dutch female new order fans . Great! Well if there are other (female) dutch new order fans wanting to go to Belgium (Rock Werchter); yes I'm in for it! Didn't want to go on my own either. There are still tickets available for the day New Order play. Maybe 'little boy lost' from Belgium want to join us as well. I'll sent him an email.

Am I right in thinking we could go to Belgium with Mari, Runwild, myself and Geri?? (Geri?) Have to say I hate it that Snoop Dog is on the same bill and Ozark Henry- who the hell is that? The Chemical Brothers are half allright so it's only New Order I'm paying this 52 euro for if we can get tickets. (Kraftwerk might be interesting, but they play in a different venue that day) Furthermore I don't really like festivals, but hey, if you are all willing to go I'll join you for the 30th of June. How about it?

I have the same thoughts about the other acts. Maybe Lissabon? Citytrip + attend NO on festival there?

well, there seems to be an imbalance.. on these forums anyway.. don't know how it is 'on the whole'. But thanks to this thread we've found some more female fans who so far have been lurking in the background it appears.

ok - I'm afraid I'm one of the last 'non-flying-dutch women' around so Portugal and England are way beyond my usual territory. Hyde Park has in my opinion a much more attractive bill then Werchter or Germany. Actually, I think my initial enthusiasm for going to Belgium has already reached a lowpoint somehow (having given it some more thought lately). (it's that Snoop Dog and Ozark Henry on the bill). I don't know about you Runwild and Mari? Still wanting to go or do you have doubts as well? If you go I might go after all..
