When's the Jetstream video coming out anyways? Just got an automated email from Sultan's site and he's got some screenshots from the video.
Now...does this one look promising to you? ![]()

But I do think it's cool that Bernard's taken to dressing like me these days. Well, we are the same age. :D
adding more Sultan´s info:
12"
A1 - Jetstream (Jacques Lu Cont rmx)
A2 - Jetstream (Radio Edit)
B1 - Jetstream (Richard X remix)
B2 - Jetstream (Tom Neville remix)
Maxi CD Single
Enhanced CD
video scenes

Track 7 on the Enhanced CD appears to be an interactive u-myx program - some very basic software that allows you to remix the track yourself. Users of Acid Pro and the like will scoff at it but it may be of amusement to some.
There may also be a remix competition run in accordance with it. It's appeared on Muse and Killers' singles before.

Don't know that the fringe is doing her any favours.
Who was it that was salivating over her on these pages a few weeks back?
:\pimp3:
Hasn't anyone got a copy of the vid yet? It'll be on The Box in the UK tonight for sure (hint hint).
:\pimp3:
I saw the video last night on VH2.You dont really see that much of the band, more Bernards face. You do get a split second of Barney doing his dance but its mainly Ana Matronic prancing around. It looked OK.
Probably not a bad way to edit it either. Keep the lens on the chick, keep the old pros in the dark background. Works for Garbage.

Barney does look like hes had a good night on the Pernod in the video bless him.But i do think it will chart higher than Krafty !!
Christ on a bike!
.Ana Matronic looks awful in those pics.haven`t seen the vid yet but she looks like a bloke.I did like her looks before this but that is scary!

Yes - I know I've said it before, but I think it's going to be huge worldwide, and give them their first proper UK number 1 even. Most of my colleagues have been singing along to the J-E-T bit when it comes on the radio at work.

Just wanted a copy of this quote unedited, for future reference.
Big call from the Blue Brother!

Which obviously means it will actually peak at 38 for one week before disappearing into oblivion...
I reckon if it had been the first single it would have had a genuine chance of being top 3 over here. This being mainly due to the SS connection mind you. As it is I reckon top 10 - most NO fans will buy it for the Richard X remix if nothing else.
I must say congrats to Sultan, I have no idea who he managed to pull this rabbit out of the hat... ![]()
It's not like I haven't been trying to get these, and it's even before the damned pictures get published on warner germany's website, where Howard Wakefield said they would appear first.
Oh well.

Yeah, I'm afraid to say Nick Rhones looks more like a woman than she does there!

How successful are SS in the charts? Have they had a no 1? I gave their album a listen and wasn’t too impressed.
For the record, I think Jetstream sounds great. The mixes that I have heard are amazing and Miss Mantronic's input is stunning. Not for NO the typical choice of a pretty-sounding celeb songstress for a duet, or the temporary promotion of the backing singer. They have managed to spin a feeling of tension between two - a love song that could easily turn nasty at any point.
As for chart success, that’s up to the kids!

He's certainly letting his exclusivity known with the captions on all the images!
I know it's been said before, but there really should only be the one primary NO website. I know all of the acrimonious history between the sites, I can remember the flaming on Ceremony back in the day. But really, NO's not big enough for two competing sites. The strengths of his site complementing this one would make a hell of a NO supersite.

I disagree, DC. A merger would result in a site which would be different to this one. I'm sure that not many people would like to see a great deal of change here.
I used to like that header that played the strange mix when you clicked on it. The one that started with Barney saying "we're a bit fucked". I was sorry when that went. I'd bring that back, and change nothing else.
WIM has a certain charm. I like the way the conversations continue for months rather than hours. They have just started a "Lyrics" thread, which will probably go on for weeks. The NOOL lyrics thread was all done and dusted in days, and involved a sustained effort from a few determined posters and valuable contributions from many others. This comparison does not reflect badly on WIM by any means - the pace here requires real commitment to keep up, WIM can be visited for a few minutes a day without missing a single post. They also have a couple of band-member-elatives and a fine stalker. This could not occur here, these individuals would not last five minutes here; they would be bombarded with questions or insults and would never return.
Of course, quite a few people enjoy contributing to both forums - the true heroes in my opinion!
I'm really looking forward to seeing the Jetstream video, by the way!

Fair enough.
To be honest I fail to see much of what WIM offers that NOOL doesn't. Maybe I'm just being greedy and trying to amalgamate his news resources with what we've got here. That way we get everything from one site without having to to and fro all the time when news is breaking. NOOL's contacts seem to have improved remarkably over the years and there's not a lot of exclusives that WIM can actually boast these days. I've got nothing against David, I'm just calling it the way I see it.
When I check out his forums, well, they often seem a bit lifeless and somewhat behind the pace. Be interesting to see some posts from Hooky's 'tin lids' though.
Plus he has the FAC number and a phenomenal collection online that I sometimes refer to.

Ah that old dilemma.
Actually, the only difference, well, there are more differences actually, but that's a major one.
Mr Sultan CALLS the people, I write mail to them ;)
But yes, I admit that I have been blessed so far with a lot more support than we used to have, but there's a reason for this.
We used to be seen as the black sheep because some people tried to mark us as bootleggers in 2001, which caused us a lot of problem to have support in the Get Ready era.
But last year, Johnny Giles gave a good word for us at the press listening of the album, that's the start of it, plus the help I gave concerning the album leak opened a lot of doors with the management & uk label.
So I believe we finally have a nice spot up there... but it's unfortunatly still complicated, I mail them, they don't send me the news, I still have to gather them.
But it seems NOOlers are faster than them actually, so it doesn't help ;) Like the iPod, they were about to email me about it, but we found out quicker.. etc ;)
From another perspective, David obviously has serious completist issues and I can't help but wonder if he'd ever actually relinquish one of the jewels in his collection: his very own successful New Order website. I think he probably loves the thought of being the biggest fanboy in the world and the exclusive ownership of Fac 441.
