This is the first time that I post here but I've been following this site for a few years.

After listening to the MacQuayle Vocal mix, I just couldn't believe how great it is. It is not cheesy like the original version. It has lots of keyboards and shows Hooky's bass really well. I wish all remixes were as good as this one! What do you all think?

I wouldn't know, the canadian version didn't include it. :nonono: As I recall New Order made the top 10 here with Get Ready whereas in the USA...not so much.

How dare you call the original cheesy...you have now gone and ruined my frigging birthday...

IMHO the original is better.

But again, this is NOT a remix... it's a MIX, it was done before Stuart Price got involved in the project.

Mac Quayle Vocal Mix kicks ass.:thumb: From the very start to the end, kicks ass.

Billion times better. I can't stand the original.

The remix is complete unlistenable crap; whereas the original is bliss.

Really like the Mac Quayle mix. The album version is fine enough, but that one is more like classic NO.

I can't believe all the weirdos who like the mix. :nonono: It seems that Jeff, Nic and I are the only sane ones.

Call me crazy, then, cuz I like this one a lot better. Follows Here To Stay in sound and feeling much closer, which is what a lot of fans were hoping for.

The Quale mix has replaced the other mix on my Ipod version of the album. With the original mix, I Told You So and Working Overtime all banished from the album (Turn is a perfect closer), it's a classic. A nine-song New Order classic.

Now I just need to get my mitts on those Jetstream mixes...

Is there any way I can hear this without buying the American version? I will NOT buy the same album two times, I've never played that game. I just bought the European version because it was the first I could get in my hands and that's it. The next Euros will be spent for Jetstream, and it's already a miracle I can spend those, nothing else left I'm afraid, though there's an ACR live album out on LTM which is very tempting... So if there's any chance of hearing it, even on wma so I can't record it (though an MP3 would be better of course), I'd be really happy, thank you.

*Thank you Ian, though when I checked my mail all I found was a notice that informed me that the new episode from Weebl And Bob has been released: http://www.weebl.jolt.co.uk/joust2.htm Don't miss this, it's one of the best ever! I really liked that tune of yours though, Love Like A Fountain, what a groove, man! ;) I'm sure you tried to send something which maybe will arrive, I'll let you know. I never have problems when receiving large files so you should check if your mail operation was correct.

..I wish I could decide, but I haven't heard the whole song yet because itunes won't let me buy it without buying the whole album :nonono: But I think its better from what I heard, then again I love the rockierness, and I love get ready! I guess I'm really mad, since I also like slow jam, rts, and Working overtime.

According to my 4 year old the remix is better. And you should never, ever argue with a 4 year old!:baby:

I've always liked the original, and the remix just blew my fookin' mind (at least until the vocals kicked in), but still class :thumb:

I agree with the more sensible bunch in the forum that believe the Mac Quayle MIX is better than the original track. :evil4:

We've all gone crazy mad.

Based on just one listen, my principal reaction to the bonus track was that it would have felt right at home on Republic.

It reminded me a lot of World and Spooky. I actually like both of those, but I wouldn't have thought that rehashing things from Republic would be the recipe for success in 2005. Apparently someone with decision-making power in the band agreed.
