I think it's a great vid.. all the tricks of the live gig are there...but in a Saville Wonderland.
OK, Saville 'associates', but same thing yeh? Did I tell you I had the same Art teacher as Peter Saville?, yep it's true. Except I am shit at art.

i'm reading all your opinions, and don't understand what you are complaining about. They appear in the video. (or at least Barney is), this is a huge step! :) And also, who can be scared by Ana??? she is a 100% sex godness.... i love her with or without the wig.
The only thing i don't like is the mix. Why did they removed Hooky?? that's a shame.
Impressions-
- WHERE IS HOOKY!? In the music, and in the video? Even the new guy gets more airtime than poor Peter!

its a cool video, with at least some very good potential to be shown/ broadcast in many places, with crossover potential... and somehow even manages to make Bernard look kinda cool!!! ... which is an incredible feat, you can tell that some people did take this video as having some serious/real commercial potential
the video is visually interesting, its a cool classic style music video. i don't know what the song will do in the USA, but it has potential in many ways worldwide. sort of a "tweener" song, where will it fit? too slow for dance? too weird for adult contempory? too pop for alternative?
and you guys are right about Hooky... Hooky is damn cool, couldnt they have gave him .75 seconds of face time in the vid or 5 seconds of bass groove higher in the mix!... i guess they think Hooky will scare the girls:\ohwell:
the single mix is very catchy IMO
It would've been nice to see/hear a bit more Hooky and Stephen -- and Ana is indeed scary at times -- but I love the funky set. It's a shame they weren't able to edit the album version of the song down, though, instead of coming up with this washed-out version.

What happened to the cool, artsy New Order? I still love New Order and the new album(for the most part), but the video doesn't even have the cheekiness of the TBTHOG or 60MPH videos...It's just so bland. Maybe it'll grow on me like the Krafty video(which I now find to actually be pretty nifty), but as of now Jetstream is really eh.
Additionally, I still can't get used to not seeing Gillian there.
I have to say that after watching the video I wasn't that impressed. As a New Order fan for over 25 years it seemed very simplified. Now I don't know what their budget was for the video, so I have to give them the benefit of the doubt on that.
When I started listening to the song, and it was the first time I heard it. I was reminded of how simplistic the lyrics were. It reminded me of a rap song. I was able to follow and guess what the next line would be. Maybe I'm setting the bar to high since Ecstasy & Love Vigilantes are my barometer. Can you tell I was a history major? 
All-in-all I give the song and video a 6.5.
