Let us know if you buy it today, and if you have any anecdotes of course.

If you are planning to buy it through Amazon, don't hesitate to use the links on the front page and help NOOL by the same action, as we will be getting 5% back out of any purchase done through these links.

If you are looking for the 12", it's available at HMV, unfortunatly, HMV UK doesn't have a partnership program, which sucks pretty much.

Enjoy enjoy enjoy enjoy... ;)

Just bought the two cd singles through Amazon via the site.

Will be buying the 12" shortly from either HMV or Tower if they stock it here in the states.

Two quick questions:

  1. Am I reading it correctly that the only place I'll "legally" be allowed to purchase certain mixes is via itunes and Napster? On other releases it seemed like there was still a way to buy them in "hard" form.

  2. I noticed that the discography doesn't include these online exclusive mixes...will we have to add a new category type for the online versions?

I will look for it. Sometimes stores have 1 or 2 copies of it. That's how I got Krafty.

Can't do it yet. It hasn't been released her yet.

I am pretty sure though that I was the first person in the world to legaly purchase WFTSC & Krafty in a shop. Unless someone in NZ beat me due to the time diff.

That was at 10.15 Easter Sunday. It would have been earlier, but they still had to price Krafty, which they hadn't even put out in the shop yet. So I had to ask for it.

Didn't WFTSC release in Japan several days before everywhere else? Tokoloshe Man may have beaten you to it!

I ordered Jetstream last week. 2 x CD5s and the 12". HMV shipped it Saturday so I may have it by the week's end.

They do, through *shudders* TradeDoubler.

Not bought it yet, the music store in my suburb doesn't carry singles anymore

The "video" on disc 2 is the crappiest quality quicktime movie imaginable.

The covers carry a sticker bearing the legend "featuring ANA MATRONIC", but luckily they come off without leaving any glue behind...

Don't know if I can be arsed. It's shit. Not over enamoured by what I've heard of the remixes either. Still, don't mind the covers, how much are they asking for it?

Just nipped out of the office and bought both cds from HMV. They also had the 12", but I resisted. I also bought a new watch, so the whole trip cost me a fortune!

The re-mixes are excellent - I particularly like the Arthur Baker one. On first listen, all the mixes seem to make Matronic a bit less prominent. A vocal version with more Anna would have been better than the album version - not sure why they included this.

Can't use the U-Mix and video on the computer in the office, so can't comment on them.

Should have mentioned ages ago - it was released last Friday here in Ireland:thumb: - picked mine up (the video/uMix one) in HMV Blanchardstown for e3.99 on Friday afternoon & I've spent the weekend playing around with the uMix program. :music: At this stage i've got a half decent version made up, but its a very simple program - you can't move sections around - just switch them on or off & adjust volumes. Theres quite a few glitches in it too - marks & hisses in the music/vocals & areas in the vocals where you can hear the click track(i think - generally sounds like a rhythm guitar) & Anna's 'breathing' gets in my nerves in the early sections

Shh - I got the UMix thing working!

It's a novely item really - but nice to be able to isolate different sections. Quite surprised at how some of the the bass sounds.

The video is great - who is Dawn Shadforth?

U-MYX is quite a good toy....for about five minutes!ANyone entering the I-POD competition for this? :confused2:

I've just bought the Pete Heller mixes from iTunes.

Not too bad, quite bass heavy.

Phela Vocal mix is OK, Phela Dub is a little boring and doesn't really feature any New Order!

Shame they are only available here though and not on CD, especially at 128kbps.

Still think Richard X mix is the best....has anyone heard the New Order Bunker mix yet?

I Got all thre formats, because the packaging looks pretty nice and I don't want to have any gaps in my collection. I've just spent 30 mins using the U myx software to get an acapella version, a hooky only version, a steve only version, and now I am away to sample the fuck out of them.

Pete Heller mix sounds interesting, but I wish there was a way to get all these download exclusives on cd...

Not bought it yet, I had a vasectomy last week and I'm still recovering so not out much just now :D

James, are you sying the iTunes version is only 128kbps? Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that shite?

Itunes is killing me. It doesn't allow for non UK citizens to buy any tunes. I'm from the US and I would like to buy the Heller version. Any info on whether it will be sold somewhere else?

I cant bring myself to buy it, its the opposite to one of those songs that grows on you. Very disappointing..hopefully therell redeem themselves by releasing Draculas Castle as a single:evil4:

Yes, that’s the one. A bit dissapointing to see it hidden away underneath the ten or so new releases that their head office is expecting to make more money on this week. I predict no top ten single.

And The Jacques Lu Cont Mix is excellent! I've been listening to it non stop. Arthur Baker mix I had high hopes for, but on the first listen it sounded rather commercial. I'll have to stick it on a few more times, hopefully I'll change my mind.

Well that's five copies from one shop alone!

Are there two versions of the Jacques Lu Cont Mix?

Itunes has it listed as "2nd Mix"??

The two 12 inch records i bought cost £3=99p so you got a good deal there KEVIN!:thumb: Cost me £13=99p for WAITING FOR THE SIREN'S CALL on VINYL aswell. But at least there are few less HOLES in my collection. Now if only i could get a bloody job.

Yep iTunes mixes are at 128kbp, although it is Apple's MP4 format, so the quality is not too bad.

Bought all the usual formats too, worth it just for a couple of decent mixes alone!!

Thought the Pete Heller remix was crap. Nine minutes and two seconds of monotony. It's like these remixers get as big pile of cash for repeating a dull loop and sticking a bit of echo on the vocals.

Prefer the Richard X mix, and the Bunker mix off Napster is ok.

To be honest I'd swap any number of tedious remixes for one decent version and a new song as a B side...
