Shug I know what you're thinkin "one less hun to upset those lovely people at drumcree this year" :)

Gnu, aint tried, side effect of painkillers and antibiotics and weed to keep em in me makes cubase even more irritating than usual (I honestly spend half my time in any PC cubase session staring wistfully at the atari's in the corner). And the Moog has moved down from Belfast to stay for a few weeks, so when cubase DOES appear, it's been turned into little more than an fx processor so I can pretend to be Rick wakeman one minute, and bounce out Blue Monday (the Rogue aint TOO far from a Moog Source) and When I'm With You the next.

EDIT: just realised the following probably needs a tag...

**mega gross out, too much info alert, weak souls need not apply**

Dunno bout "thread of the year" :)....yer all makin me feel like a fraud, cos it aint sore just now ( mind you, I can feel it plotting something big....it's first move will doubtless be to make ALL the skin down there flare up.....imagine the standard male proportions morphing over 24hours into something that looks more like a space hopper....buster gonad with speed-dick :) not sore....just really upsetting LOL). And that's the thing, I CAN make it go away, just as long as I stay still all day every day. It's not raining here today, so I decided, F* this, I been up since 4am, and I'm bored.....don't care what happens, I'm going fishing. Walked 200 yards to pier......tide wrong, rod broke, reel jammed, spinner launched into low earth orbit, sat down, had a smoke, walked 200 yards home.....round trip 1 hr...result....utterly wrecked, like post marathon wrecked, and nasty bits getting nastier. Cursed I tell ya :)

Flea, who's "not half bad" even if he does have a grip on the thing like an angry bear, WORSHIPS Hooky. Didn't the peppers raid NO's stage in LA on the last tour? If you look at Lfea's fave bass, the one with all the sticker on it, the only intact sticker, right in the centre, is the cover of UP.

Hooky is a bassplayer's bassplayer, because he get's to do all the shit the rest of them get fired for. I got in CONSTANT trouble in every band I was ever in for going up-neck, and making whcking great noises at the end of tunes.

Barney needs to ermember that the reason he was stuck up front ( other than it looking so retarded when any drummer but Robert Wyatt sings) was because he worked his guitar round the vocal in JD. I wonder is it to do with JD songs evolving more in rehearsal, and the current crop of NO songs being barney in da bedroom efforts largely.....I mean, if he's writing he'll be more likely to come of with some strummy strummy comping part, rather than the JD style call and response between vox and guit (call and response is a bit strong, it's not a feckin symphony, but u get my drift)
