You know, it's almost like they actually THOUGHT this one through!
Don't expect anything to change at Hyde Park if I'm being honest, though it would be good to see SLC and KW1 re-introduced into the melting pot. Depends what their time constraints are, I guess?
Looks like I won't be missing much. Thinking about it, as opposed to just doing what they want to do seems to lead to mediocrity. There's still a lot of great songs in there but it hardly creates an essential experience.

Al, you say they don't have any choice but to play the same set? Uh, who writes the setlist? Execs at the label or members of the band. You have to stop making excuses for their lazy, "professional" approach. They can play anything they wish, they CHOOSE to play the same set night after night.

And, did anyone notice they don't play Touched anymore? Anyone missing it? I am definitely not.
Touched was awful live. Now they need to ditch BLT or at least start playing the album version or 7inch edit instead of the fully preprogrammed remix they mime nowadays.

Check out your setlists, Brian. They haven't played the same setlist twice this year. Which is more than can be said of them from say, ooh, 12 years ago, yes?!
First time I've heard New Order called 'professional' as well. I know you like your pitch-perfect concerts and Barney singing splendidly but I ain't witnessed that once this year, and you certainly didn't at the first two gigs on this tour. It's just plain old New Order, warts and all. Love 'em. Or loathe them.
What's the source of these 'mooted' new (old) songs for Hyde Pk? Have they said something, or is just wishful thinking?

This is the first new order show i attended. I would be happy still with this setlist. But im still dying for thieves like us.
They can play EGG with the current setup that plays temptation, no mor work required.

The Lisbon (I was there and I liked it but...) set was: Love Vigilantes, Crystal, Regret, Hey Now What You Doing, Krafty, Transmission, Run Wild, She's Lost Control, Waiting For The Sirens' Call, Bizarre Love Triangle, True Faith, Love Will Tear Us Apart, Temptation, Atmosphere, Blue Monday.
Not very different from the Barcelona or US. But they only have played SLC because hooky liked the Ian Curtis T-shirts on the front row. I think Barney didn't want to play SLC.
If I have to decide I put TBTHOG instead of Tempetation beacause they play tempetation all the time (in all the live recordings). Run Wild it´s not well placed on the live act and could be changed with Vanising Point or Round and Round because technique it's probably their best album and not even a song is played live.
Who's Joe? or Turn are stronger songs than Hey Now What You Doing.
They have to play Here To Stay someday.
And hooky someday will play Dreams never end again
