Hi guys. Yet another fabbo Ebay win. I managed to score a taped copy of the above gig that they did at Kingston Polytechnic. This is the one where Mark Johnson(Ideal For Living biographer) have to try and get his moped off the back of one of New Order's lorries(You actually hear his moped plate number being mentioned partway through the gig as part of the joke). Has anybody else got this full gig? The version of EGG played on this is the one used on the Retro live disc. Needless to say, it's getting put into digital format v.soon.

By far the best version I've ever heard, and it's not likely we'll ever find better...

i have it on CD- it's a great gig. I was there on the night too, and the recording sounds better than I remembered it in the hall - it was a bit cavernous IIRC, but the recording is pretty sharp.
I was at the gig. Got the tape a year or so later (great quality) and received it on CD a year or so ago. It was one of those live recordings posted on line on erm... some 'live gig download site' . A year or so ago, as I recall... ![]()
It's all too much!
I drove past the bloody place again last night - it's about three miles from my gaff - and now every time I pass it I curse myself for not being at the gig. It sounds like a belter too. Am I right in thinking the date info on Retro for this gig is wrong? It's mentioned in the gig list in that True Faith book as being so.
I've a Bradford St. George's Hall 1986 boot if anyone feels like swapping?
this is a fast one for all you bollock brains.
Somebody send 'Chemical' a copy of this gig as my stuff is still in shipping (or bottom of the pacific for all I know)

Saw Solitude's post re. you wanting this-have done initial burn to MD and can transfer to CD-R pretty easily-send me an address via E-mail(mcminn7691bass2yahoo.com.au). The Bradford '86 gig sounds like a fair swap to me.
