How many are there, and which is best ? Just downloaded the Hot Tracks mix off Audiogalaxy, and it will be played every hour on the hour from now on - it's amazing !

God knows how many versions there are!! I had a list from Energy records a couple of years ago - which had at least 6 or 7 I think, as for a favourite mix, I still love The Kiss of Death;)

Kiss of Death is top, I must agree. Now I'm gonna stick my neck out here........having heard the (rather good) Dresden & Gabriel mix of Someone Like You(now that's what you call humble pie pal :)), it would be interesting to see them get their hands on Perfect Kiss - the bass may suit their style I think (knowing a bit about remixes meself but keeping it quiet earlier).....

Sloppy, you should take a second and drop dave an email. maybe not, but he'd appreciate it. perhaps you could mention your perfect kiss remix idea. who knows? We are all agreeing that the full 12"version is the best right? As for versions of Perfect Kiss...the version from Electronic Ecstasy would be my pick with Kiss of Death making a run for it down the stretch...are the other mixes DMC mixes like the SubCulture mixes? The Record Mirror Mix of SubCulture stands out as the best of the bunch (what was the corresponding DMC mix number?) I was listening to Woolwich 86 (i think) and Barney does an interesting jazzed up vocal to SubCulture that i've been singing for a couple days now...were you at that gig Sloppy? Allen? Anyone? Beuller?

All I can remember about Woolwich is that it was really uninspiring (to these eyes/ears) until the encore, which was one of the best I ever saw (Atmosphere/Do The Ostrich). We were more concerned about getting back to the car safely than the gig I think !

I would drop old Dresden a mail if he had left an e-mail address. Maybe I'll start a thread to bring it to his attention - we know he reads these anyway.
