New Order Casting Call

I'm not sure if this has been done yet, but what the hell. If you were casting actors for a New Order film, who would you hire? Of the top of my head I'm thinking Sean Penn for Barney, Gary Oldman for Hooky, Keanu Reeves (like i said, of the top of my head) for Stephen, and Jane Leaves from Frasier as Gillian. I was also thinking of Anthony Michael Hall as Barney for a while...

Here's what I was thinking: Richard Burton as Barney. John Gielgud as Hooky. Laurence Olivier as Stephen. Vanity as Gillian with Gerard Depardieu as Gretton, Judi Dench as Tony Wilson, and Casey Kasem (he needs the work) as Ian

Sounds pretty good, Tabsy, except for the Casey Kasem part. God knows he needs to work, but I can't see how the man who sent Negativland a copy of "The Power of Positive Thinking" during the U2 fiasco could reasonably play the role of Ian. What's the line he used to end his shows with ,"keep reaching for the stars"? Sorry, just can't see him accurately portraying Ian's inner demons.

Of course, if he could, then he would definitely be a good 'actor'.
