Jesus Christ, why didn't ya warn me? The entire fucking album is piss-poor musings about stray puppies and deceased cockroaches. It makes no sense at all. I hate everyone here for making me believe it was a fantastic album, instead of the racist Communist diatribe it is. I fart on Technique, it shall never see the light of day in my cd player I tell you that much! :mad2:

Ha-ha, made you look....:D

I love it, actually. Gave it a few spins last night, it's pretty booty-shaking. Excellant from track to track, not a bad song. So far it's a toss-up between All The Way and Fine Time as to my favorite track, but overall I love it. Thanks again, Jason.

F*** you , Taboo, for confusing me for a second there:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: It's brilliant , isn't it? So nice that someone still can get exited about an "old" album, tells you just how great their music is!! NEW ORDER RULE!!:jump::jump::jump::jump:

Technique, as i often say, rules!

Trevor...

I thought I was going to have to go pick up April and Liv, and then drive to South Carolina and whoop your ass boy!!!

But glad to see that you are enjoying it...I think that, overall, it may be their best effort...and certainly the most danceable (did I spell that correctly???)

Spelling correctly??Don't aks me, it's your bloody language:lol::lol::lol::lol:

This must have been a vile publicity stunt. I have often thought as a whole Technique was the most solid album, some highlights but no low points, just what you look for when your grooving

What about Vanishing Point, Tabsy?

Finally, I can give Trevor a break. Although you did select the first 2 as your favorites which makes me wonder.......Technique was the first NewOrder album I bought on release day. I borrowed my friends car (he was grounded) and bought it on cassette. Months passed before it was ejected. Many months passed. The lettering smeared and eventually wiped off the tape leaving no trace of song titles etc...warbling and wavering followed before the ghost in the machine decided Technique was too tasty to let go. The bottom of my compact disc looks like 2 cats tried to learn to write their names on it but remarkably, it doesn't skip.

What about Dream Attack? we music lovers define ourselves with the music we listen to and i doubt if i'm the only one here who feels like Dream Attack embodies their spirit. absolutely the first song I play when i need to re-center.

Jeff - I hope you would have saved me a seat in your car for the ride from Dallas to SC. I'm not about to let anyone slam my favorite NO record. Glad to see that we didn't have to "help" Trevor appreciate his recent purchase. Enjoy Trevor - I doubt you'll ever tire of that record.

Round&Round(albumversion)

^^^THE BEST EVER NEWORDER SONG EVER EVER ^^^^

The sooner people realise this the better.

Yes Tracey...you could have piled in as well...we'd just pop in Technique, and devised painful torture exercises, and then shaved his head and called him Billy Corgan!!!!!

Dream Attack....:love2:....HAVE to listen to it at least once a day.....

Nah... the chorus doesn't have enough impact. If they took the chorus from the 94 version and stook it in the original it would improve the song no end. Still like it though!

Major thats spot on mate. Round and Round is a fabulous song but the album version is just a bit too weak for my liking. The single version's probably the best.

As regards Technique..I've had it 7 years and it's still the best and most listened to album in my collection

Damn it Taboo, before I got to the bottom part of your post I thought I was going to have to come down and kick your nelly ass. Glad your enjoying it though. Sure got down there fast, huh? Have you listened to Dream Attack yet? I actually didn't really care for it at first, but now it's something that I have to listen to at least once a day. It's like my anthem. "I don't belong to no one" Fuck no I don't, bitch*!!

*bitch refers to Jason's ex-girlfriend, and not to Taboo#7, NewOrderOnline, it's members, employees, and subsidiaries. Niether Taboo#7 nor NewOrderOnline, it's members, employees, or subsidiaries are responsible for Jason's misfortune in relationships.

I love the cheese of Fine Time and i always have plenty of time for Mr Disco, but Round & Round is great but Vanishing Point is very good to listen.

Fuck it! i love the whole lot, and am thankful other people love this album as well!

Enjoy and have love technique!

Unfortunately, there are some skips in Dream Attack, but like Wierdo on my copy of Brotherhood they're pretty selective about showing up or not, so I can enjoy the song all the way through 1/2 of the times I play it. I ain't complaining....

For me, All The Way has the most powerful lyrics. Best song over-all on Technique? I have no idea. I actually like Mr Disco, but a fave... No idea.

Round&Round definitely is one of the best songs, especially remixes included (yeah yeah, it's me again).....

The chorus is the bit that makes it so great. I love it`s slight off-key-ness. I love Round&Round(albumversion)Chorus!
