I think I'd go for "Age Of Consent", because musically, with this bassline, it's quite upbeat and it's a nice way to say "it will be alright" or something...
Which NO song to be played at your funeral ?

YOUR SILENT FACE
...because of the line "you've caught me at a bad time, so why don't you piss off?"
:D
Its good to see this post is crawling with the hardcore members...
I think I'd have to go for 'Sooner than you Think' - very touching, and fairly humorous 'Hello everyone its nice to be here'
Id go with "Sooner than you Think" too, or possibly "Dreams Never End"...but probably more than likely "Elegia"
Fuck me, this morbid innit....

Of course it's a bit morbid but that's more fun thant just a "pick your best NO song". Because it doesn't have to be your best one, just the one you think would be appropriate.
By the way, a personal note to Liv, I'm a little disappointed you haven't reacted to the "Those Humans that form NO" as it was inspired by some of your posts... Well, you do want you want of course... :)
Dream Attack. Epic ! "Don't look in to the Sun..." - certainly not when I'm six feet under !!! :D

Very interesting topic!
I want 'In a loney place'.
"How I wish you were here with me now How I wish we were here with you now."

As I'm a bit of a depressing bastard ,it will have to be side 2 of "Closer". Apparently this goes down well at weddings, christenings, bar mitzvahs etc....
Dream Attack Live in Seattle 2002.
if i get a recording, you're all invited to hear it when they're shovelling the dirt....

Liv,
You're in luck. Elegia and Sooner Than You Think are 5 & 6 on Low-Life. I bet with all the teary eyes in attendence you'll get to hear both. As for Dreams Never End...sounds like a good enscription for the old tombstone...

Can I mention Leonard Cohen? What a great combo!! Mr Cohen playing as everyone troops in to the crematorium. Then "Here are the young men" as I pass into the next world. Everyone's invited!!!!!
also The Smiths "asleep".What a corker!!!

You plan on having your funeral a Monday?
I'll be too busy for that. I'll keep that for the week-end.

Well, it's just another way to look at NO songs. This is not about thinking about our own death, anyone does at one time or another anyway, it is just looking at songs from a different perspective, some kind of game, if you wish...
