I'd chose "Hey Andy" by Roland Orzabal. But as it has to be a NO song... Probably "Here to stay" :D

It may be perfect.
BUT everyone who's participating in this thread is gonna die cos it's very wrong to play with Death. You all kinda attract her to yourself.
& if you don't participate you won't die?
have always said i want elegia at mine, now there's a 17 min version all the better.
I'm far more interested in weddings than funerals at the moment, but Atmosphere will be played at my funeral, this has already been decided.
Something nice 'n' upbeat 'n' totally inappropriate for the occasion, just to remind people that, hey! we've gotta enjoy what we have while we have it, so CHEER UP YOU MISERABLE BASTARDS!!!
I dunno - the first song off the next LP?

I want that one!
That means that I'll die only in 2122
!
Gosh, I was just thinking about this subject the other day, being a morbid bastard. I first thought of 'temptation' (and the cure's Inbetween days) cos I love em and cos they're just so.. poignant. But then I thought, poignant? don't be so po-faced, and opted for True Faith (and the lovecats!).
Though TPK would kind of fit wouldn't it? (now I know the pefect kiss...)
Actually, just play the entire NO catalog, and noone goes home till its done.
Close Range, symbolizing what I've always striven to do. The world in my hands.... sort of thing. I wanna scream, I wanna shout ect

Just got the DVD back from my wedding in March and SUPRISE my wife had them dub Blue Monday for the preceremony groom portion and BLT for the dancing shots!!!
Wake: BLT and Face Up Funeral: Leave me alone

a lot of JD songs would be extremely fitting.
any of those songs would make everyone there ten times more miserable! but they're definitely fitting songs for a funeral.
