Bearing in mind the year in which the LP's were released... Movement - Dreams Never End PCL - Your Silent Face, Age of Consent, Ecstacy Low-life - Love Vigilantes Brotherhood - All Day Long, Paradise Technique - Mr. Disco, All The Way, Dream Attack Republic - no more singles Get Ready - Slow Jam (still features heavily in the Ford car ads downunder - the latest ad even shows the car CD player starting up track 6 to Slow Jam) WFTSC - Turn

Mine would be Face Up. I think the sentiment and melody would have sold it.

love vig, vanishing point, and I think its nice someone mentioned love less. Although i don't think it would have made a good single i think its definitely an underrated song

I agree. Love Less is great and often overlooked, but it still wouldn't have been a good choice for a single.

Does 1963 (original 87 version) count?

For the ill-informed, it looks like Turn will be the next single.

I reckon Hey Now, What You Doing would have been a better comeback than Krafty.. it's got punch, power, a simple hook, reel the kids in for the album. It's what most successful albums seem to be doing (Gwen Stefani, The Killers, Kaiser Chiefs, etc). Not to mention that's what Crystal was too, but that's a killer track (KILLERS track, haohoho!).

I reckon a lot of songs from Technique could have been singles too. But mainly because it's such a fine album. Paradise would have been better than State of the Nation, as well. Same for the horribly underrated ANGEL DUST.

I do think it was good Krafty being the first single from WFTSC. It's catchy for most people and it did do fairly well in the charts. Jetstream was a big mistake though, Hey Now or one of the better songs on the album should of been released instead, but I'd probably go for Hey Now for the second single. AS for the WFTSC single, that was all a bit messy the way it was released, why didn't they just release it normal like any other single from the album! So Turns going to be the next single? Can we still safely say that's going to happen though?

the obvious choice has to be Age of Consent, and also Love Vigilantes. No others because I think that album tracks tend to represent New Order in a more obscure and private way.

Everyone Everywhere... Quite a fine track that is. Dracula's Castle... Another one that could have done well.

I think for starters that murder and State Of The Nation shouldn't be singles.

.Everyone Everywhere.Paradise.Dreams Never End.Ultraviolence (with Cabaret Voltaire remixes :) ).Face Up.Turn.Run Wild (officially)

all the best Pete
