well, there's one way:
francoise hardy recorded a version of 'to the end' with blur in 1994, which was produced by stephen street. stephen street produced a number of morrissey's singles. morrissey was in the smiths with johnny marr, who formed electronic with bernard sumner.

New Order used a sample from "The Exorcist" in Don't Do It. Max von Sydow was in that movie, but he also did the narration for Lars von Trier's "Europa."
