Once said he liked Blue Monday...Explains why fookers like Dead Or Alive, Divine, Hazell Dean all have songs with similar(some say ripped-off) bass-lines/drum patterns to that NO opus-which is, of course why they got Slim, one of thier roadies, to join them on stage for the one and only live rendition of Love Reaction/Blue Monday at Brixton in 1983(It's a fooking scream if you've nowt heard it!!) just to take the piss back out of Divine.

To continue this thread....NO and Tom Hanks(Nowt to do with Forrest Gump and the Smilely T-shirt!!)

too easy that would be e. Now if I can oly come up with a new one.

Ok an easy one New Order and Jorja Fox. No and it isn't that I like both.

CSI. Another hint about NO and Tom Hanks. Can also be a link between NO and Sir Anthony Hopkins.

I stand by my answer. In the 90s smily faces were associated with the rave/ecstasy culture.

right on Agent!

I read somewhere that Bernard really liked the stuff from Francoise Hardy.

Taking advantage of it, what's the link between Joy Division and Fatal Fury 3 (classic Neo Geo game back in 90's)?

It's a relevant link re. the Forrest Gump movie. Granted. But I was looking for the link between the 2 elsewhere which is why I introduced the Sir Anthony Hopkins clue as well.

Looks like the puff has gone out of this thread, so I'll knock my component of it on the head; The Tom Hanks/Sir Anthony Hopkins link-up is via the 2 films Philadelphia & Silence Of The Lambs, both directed by Jonathan Demme, who also directed the video for Perfect Kiss.

It's either got to be some link to Quincy Jones or just to Warner in general..they're the only 2 things I can think of.

I didn't think of that one Maya- not being a Whitney fan. I wasn't aware Jellybean had worked with her- is that what you mean in that answer?

digging up an old thread here to see if anyone got my link when i was gone...

good find, but this isn't what i was thinking of.

my link: arthur baker produced new edition's candy girl the same year he produced confusion. bobby brown was in new edition. bobby is married to whitney.

my clues referred to the production of confusion (which you got); as for salma hayek: when we first see her in dogma she's dancing on the table in the strip bar to candy girl.
