Late TV + New Order: Let's make it happen, people!

Alright, push has come to shove, I believe now is the time to start a concerted campaign to get New Order on one of the many late night TV outlets here in the US. If they won't tour, we'll try and get them to do a one night stand (I'll feel better about myself the morning after). Here are the possible options for our fabled Manc lads to do their thing on:

1. Late Show with David Letterman

2. Late Night With Conan O'Brien

3. Saturday Night Live

The devil's advocate in me says:

1. Jay Leno

2. Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn

Alright, folks, let's get cracking on an e-mail campaign to the first three options. Go to the offical websites, and may New Order be willing enough to deign to such an appearance on the American tube.

New Order probably won't do any of the shows, but let's at least let the big media know there'd be an audience for it if they were considering NO as musical guests.

Well, I tried Conan's site, I e-mailed them and got a nice, standard "thanks for your e-mail" crap. There was absolutely no e-mail link that i could see on Letterman's site.

I'm going to try Conan to. I'll bet if a lot (or is it alot, I can never remember) of people wrote in then it could happen.

All I'm trying for is to alert their attention that there would be an audience for New Order if they could book them, so that they'd approach NO about appearing. Whether or not Barney et al agree to it is up to them.

Just go to the big NBC site, they have a e-mail thing for Conan.

I prefer Craig Kilborn. The only late night show that doesn't pander to the mainstream assholes that make up 99% of our Great Nation. Conan is on the cusp but his skits make me embarrased for him. Of course i'd be excited if neworder played on Regis + Kathy Lee's Replacement Show.
