Nice one-they`ve f***ed it up again...

Been to 2 HMV's,1 Virgin Megastore,a Woolworths and Asda. Has any of them got the Waiting For The Siren's Call CD single? No have they fuck. All said the same-"Yeah its on the list but we didn`t get any sorry".

I went to my local hmv and virgin they bacially said the same thing but that theyhope to have them in store by wednesday so i said to them thaats no f***ing good!

I got the same reply about the Sirens CD single at my local independant record store (and they didn't have the "Singles" album either). However, I took great delight in telling them they had bought "Singles" from my local Morrisons Supermarket 10 minutes earlier for £9.77 (great price for a 2 CD set).

OH FOR FOOKS SAKE HMV - GET YOUR FOOT OUT OF YOUR ASS! Dispatched mrs to pick me a copy of the sirens cd in Leeds,if she doesnt come back with one then i'm throwing her out AND i'm gonna stage a one man protest outside hmv barnsley!

Pretty down with hmv at the moment they suck!

They have it in every woolworth's I've seen also for £9.77. I asked the local woolies on Sat if they'd have it in (yes) and how much it would be (£16 they said!). So I ordered it from Amazon for £9+£2p&p. It's only £1 more and a day later, but its still irritating. (Note to self - never make the mistake of thinking woolies checkout staff know what they are talking about.)

Impossible. I went into Belfast HMV last Monday, and picked it up no problem.

My local WOOLIES didn't have it so i bought a packet of POLOS's instead.And they are MINTY MINT!

Nah, it's not unfortunately. Used to spend a fortune in there! I think that HMV contributed to its downfall (gawd knows why, cos HMV is shite).

There is now a 'musicmania' which I think is a reincarnation of Mike Lloyds (never thought of trying there, actually!).

Mike LLoyds was a treasure trove of vinyl - picked up a load of mint Joy Division 12" in there years ago, dead cheap!

That's exactly what I did! I had all my original vinyls, but bought back-up copies in Mike Lloyd so I could play them to death without harming the originals.
