So England are getting 8% of the tickets for each game. So, assuming the other team gets 8% that leaves 84% of the total tickets for a match going to FIFA and it's sponsors.

This is a fookin disagrce. Coca-Cola may as well enter a team, after all they'll have the most fookin tickets.

We all know what happens though, Mr Arse-Licker from Coca-Cola will sell his ticket to a fan for a tidy profit.

We all may well start calling it soccer now, coz it aint football anymore (that wasnt a dig at the yanks btw)

:banghead: :banghead:

oops, this was meant for Behind Closed Doors:rolleyes:

yep, it's all fookin bullshit.

the only way to get tickets is probably if you win some shitey coca-cola or mastercard competion or some shite like that.

to get one of the actual england tickets will also be next to impossible. Will need to have attended every home and away game for the last ten years, kept the ticket stubs, proved you only drank Coke (not Pepsi) at the matches, prove the theory of relativity and hope the wind is blowing in the right direction. If you manage all that, then you can go into a draw where you have a one in ten squillion chance of winning a single ticket to sit in a seat where your view is blocked by a girder and England play a disappointing 0-0 draw with the Guatemala where Rooney gets sent off for looking a bit moody.

On your way out of the stadium you will then get injured in the crossfire of fighting between english, turkish, dutch and german fans and end up getting arrested yourself coz you happen to be standing near a policeman.

personally, i think i'll stay at home and watch it on telly with a nice cold beer!

What shall I say... Next door are most games of the WM (in Dortmund) and even the mortal german person doesn't get tickets (without giving an DNA sample, the social insurance number etc. you won't get into the ticket lottery).

yep, it's a shame - i would actually like to go, but the hassle of getting tickets combined the the very high probability of hooliganism with english, dutch, german and (don't know if they've qualified) turkish fans.

might just save my money and come over to one of germany's lovely beer festivals instead :)

My mate is planning on having an extended stag weekend out there,we are hoping to catch a couple of games while were there. Looks like it might be subject to change now. Funny how were only getting a small amount because its not far to travel. I`d wager we had 5 times this amount when it was held in 2002...

I'll be going for the cheaper option and dwning several pints in the pub during each game. It actually ends up less expensive and I get to go home after the match. Oh, and as I only speak very limited German, at least I can find my way home (well, unless I've had one to many, then the beer compass kicks in...)

Sven is a flat eared, mushroom headed loser.

Robbie "God" Fowler said in his Autobio that at half time in the last Cup against Brazil he said nothing at half time. zilch. God wanted him to rouse the troops, but there was fuck all coming back.

We've got no chance with him. especially if we get 2 or 3 injuries to key players.

(he get's the birds though (even with those ears))

(and his compounding £4mill)

FIFA will probably use the excuse its to stop the English hooligans from getting tickets.

Is it the same for all other nations?
