Who else watches old 80s movies hoping to hear a New Order song? Well I know I do. Put what movies you know have New Order music in them. One movie I know is Wayne's World 2, at the end when Mike M. is running to stop his gf's wedding in the background is an instrumental version of Age of Consent. I was so psyched when I heard it.

Bright Lights, Big City Pretty In Pink Salvation The Crow (NIN covering Dead Souls) Blade etc etc
There are probably more films with NO on the soundtrack than almost any other bands. I know some of the above weren't 80's but John Hughes was a huge fan and introduced the Order to a wider US audience...
I love watching Pretty in Pink--not only is it a rad 80's flick, but there are three NO songs in it--Elegia, SOTN, and Shellshock. :p
Glad I'm not the only one. Cheesey movie, but I just love the sequence that features Elegia!

YES! That is also one of my faves. The other is the end (of course) that features OMD's If You Leave. Such a chick flick.

Oh, yeah, you're right, it is Theives Like Us. I had a feeling something wasn't quite right about that one. Brain fart.:D
Oh yeah,New Order in movies.
Temptation in Something Wild (a j.demme film).
True Faith in American Psycho.
There's one film that I've never been able to place.
It was on TV a few years back (but probably dates from the eighties). There was a sequence that had someone sneaking around some buildings at night. The soundtrack to the scene was Confused Beats. Is anyone familiar with this?
Coked-up, hazy nightclub scene in "Bright Lights, Big City" with "True Faith" playing; I believe it was filmed at the Tunnel nightclub in Manhatten.
My personel fav use of NO in movies was "Pretty in Pink"
ya i heard pretty in pink had NO in it, i like OMD too. theyre pretty cool. but ive never seen the movie, i gotta check it out
Bizarre love triangle's best version was played at the end of the movie,"married to the mob".
