Playing two songs (I think?) at the UK Music Hall of Fame thingy.

Not cheap though, there's an ad on the net for tickets starting at 450 notes each. :eek3:

Doesn't help that Pink Floyd are also (I think) performing live - that's gonna keep the ticket prices relatively sky-high.

Sounds like it's just a media lig though with no genuine fans being present. Just another showcase for the business.

Pink Floyd'll guarantee the ticket prices will go sky high. With all their progressive guitar solos I imagine their 2 song set will probably last 45 minutes at least :D

Well, considering it's Joy Division who are going to be automatically inducted into the hall of fame, I'm going to guess that it'll be Love Will Tear Us Apart and either Atmosphere or Transmission! :)

(Best not go to it then, as no New Order songs)! :laugh:

Sounds like a cheesy and outdated concept anyway; a "hall of fame". Are they going to commission wax work models of the band members next? :skeptic: Ian in mid-dance etc..

Mind you, it's good to see Joy Division getting alot of recognition these days. I suppose 5 years from now New Order will be getting all the same "legend" awards Joy Division got this year :laugh: They're drowning in 'em these days!

Nah, it's New Order. JD were a candidate (chortle) for the non-automatic place last year, but didn't get enough votes.

Well if Pink Floyd can play two long songs, perhaps NO could play the extended Elegia and the Saville Show sound track... BBC Radio 1 might then broadcast half the sodding set... :uhoh:

Mario - I really don't think any of us will - better to sit in the pub for a few beers instead, then listen to the radio broadcast when we get home

I already have plans for a vacation in the UK next summer ;)
