i like the intro to almost all the songs. like sunrise for the bass riff. love less's intro, i love it when the synths are dominant. but im a huge hooky fan, gah. new order rocks so much ass. i love it

in spooky's intro it sound like it says Bass Mekanik, which is a techno artist

Yes! This is genius--I haven't been able to get it out of my head for the last week. Really lovely.

To name a few off the top of my head:

Many are very good, but The BEST ever: "Temptation," middle of the song, about 3:40 to 4:10 (substance version)" "oh oh oh," then the guitar solo, then the key change, then "oh you've got green eyes, oh you've got blues eyes, oh you've gray eyes" twice. At the key change, the clouds of heaven always part and open up and shine a ray of light down on me.

I don't think there's a single NO song with a key change in it, but I knows what you means.

That's a good expression of why, for me, the Substance version is pre-eminent.

Hi, don't say much but had to respond to this. My favourite piece of music of all time is towards the end of the instrumental version of Thieves Like Us when Barney joins in with some 'ohhh ohhhhhh ohhhh ohhhing', just fantastic.

How could I forget Thieves Like Us - when Hooky's bass kicks in. Genius.

Krafty - album version - just between 3:21 and 3:22 that little 'pause' - don't know why, but I love it! 'I feel so extraordinary' makes me pee my pants every time though! Thank the Lord for incontinence pads.

The intro to Thieves Like Us, perfect. I used to listen to it all the time on my way into Manchester on the train, it just seemed to fit.

Crystal intro, sounds almost delicate until the drums kick in and the band come in one by one.

Temptation, Barney's lyrics with the "up down, turn around...", catchy! One of my favourites to bounce around to.

Not really part of a song, but that little scene in the BLT video where the lady talks about reincarnation. Completely random but it seems to work somehow.

Like everyone else, there are just too many to list, but a particular favourite at the moment is when the synth comes in at 2 mins 45 secs on 60mph. Always gives me the 'shivers'.

Oh, yeah - Crystal Specifically at 1.27 the 'chattering' after 'I don't know' Then the single keyboard chord after 'Here comes love' around 1.42 - actually, that whole song, its perfect
