but what I really like about the order, is the instrumental break in the middle of most songs. I believe the professional term for that is a bridge. few other bands do it or do it as well as them.
Mosty a soaring synth as in Ruined In A Day, when it first came out I dismissed it as too slow but after repeated listens it is sheer class.
Like many other people there are FAR too many to mention, reading though the posts you just keep thinking 'Yeah that was awesome' to each and every one, all would be on my list. but these are my favourites

Oh yes, it starts off so quiet and then hits your senses with synths,drums, bass then Barney with some choice lyrics.
Also love the intro of the original 1963

I put on ANY NEW ORDER song and my favourite part is when i nip into the kitchen for a bag of crisps and another can of beer! 
Dream Attack's outro definitely.
The way the whole song builds up for a finale of raging guitars and synth beats, while remaining a fragile beauty is awe inspiring.
From WFTSC it has to be the "J-E-T (J-E-T), your are my Jetstream lover..." bit, for the sole reason that my 3-year old son loves it, knows all the words, and there's nowt better than getting them hooked at an early age.

yeah but....it does the up a semi thing which all pop records do, it doesn't count. However, i thought of one....Run Wild, there's a definite change into the strings (shivering just thinking)
PS Binoche, I'v been waiting on that post since I posted this :) I was rather expecting something like "the dying reverb at the end of BM cos it means it's the longest time possible before I must suffer it again"

Procession - the synths intro, then Hooky's brilliant bassline kicks in Your Silent Face - 'Caught me at a bad time, so why don't you piss off'. Can't say it better than that Temptation - 'No, I've never met anyone quite like you before' Barney's laugh in 'Every Little Counts' Thieves Like Us - the whole song from start to finish!
The heavy synth before the last verse of 1963(origional version), hooky's bass on BLT, intro to Regret,outro to Ceremony, H.A.L on murder.
Turn, the part around 2:05 to 2:15 with the lyrics "it's a wild world out there and nobody gives a damn".

Agreed. The first time I listened to 'Turn' I zeroed in on that and played it over and over just sort of absorbing how nice it sounded.
Additionally: 5 8 6 when it really gets going at 2 minutes in, the break off in 'The Him' where it goes all silent and then explodes into an frenetic exhaust of sound, and the laughter in 'Every Little Counts'.

I listened to this over and over again recently, and totally agree this verse is pure genius. Beautiful lyrics..."sleepless eyes are open wide, sky is high, road is long" and Barney finishes it off by pleading what she wants from him.
There's so many nuggets in each song, isnt it great?? BTW, I havent seen NO live since manchester '99....got my tickets for nov 10 brixton - can't wait!!!
currently my fave is Dracula's castle: 3:21 to end of song.. creepy Hooky bass lines and moody vampiric synths..
all time fave: Vanishing Point: 3:14 to end of song, the synth meditation-like part, Hooky's melancholic basslines, Barney's poignant lyrics
notable mentions: Behind closed doors: 0:53 to 1:00... melding Barney's vocals to the synths... amazing
Crystal: anytime the distorted guitar crashes into the chorus then sounds like it becomes part of the drumming.. ie; 1:27

Those'd be my top choices, along with the guitar solos of Run and Angel Dust.
Ok, it's not exactly my favourite but it's definitely worth a mention:
Every Little Counts - where Barney is singing "every second counts, when I am with you, I think you are a pig...." and then he starts to laugh. Gets me every time.

and most recently: after the second chorus of Krafty, the warbly synth followed by those Heavenly bells and then Hooky's ass-kicking bass riff (dies)
some top stuff been mentioned but for me its the start of the fade out on "all day long" with the rising orchestral scale and hookys bassline going side by side.
puts a lump in my throat everytime i hear it,one of their most beautifull moments i reckons.
I am not going to pick out any particular song but my favorite part of any NO tune is when the vocals end and the m8s get down to business. For example, Lonsome Tonight, TPK, Run, YSF all have great multiminute endings. This is not a put down to Bernard rather I enjoy the sounds of rapture they make once the vocals end.
- Temptation for these vocals "Thoughts from above .........and so on ( Its a pure joy to see Barney singing those words. 2.Perfect kiss for the mixed up music that is still so fucking good to hear. 3.W.F.T.S.C. for the Guitar fading out at the end. 4.Elegia for being a great intro and instumental. 5.Dracs Castle for the Intro 6.Someone like you for Hooky's Bass bridge
