I have a shirt I got at the local goodwill store for $1.50 that's kinda purple-gray, except for being short-sleeves it's pretty close to the one Ian wore in the LWTUA vid. Also, whenever I get my haircut I carry the pic of Ian smoking as reference for how I want mine to look. :D :guitar:

I am Ian Curtis, reincarnate after a particularly violent thunderstorm caused personality switch in the middle of 1980 (that's where Irvine Welsh got the idea....). This can be proved by the random spasmodic dance patterns woven at the Borderline.....

I am Queen Elizabeth II, and I command the order to tour the United States....

Dear Liz II:

While yer at it, could you put in a 'good word' with the people who run Letterman, O'Brien, and Leno to have them on their show. Oh, and SNL, if it's not too much trouble.

                          Thank you very much

                          former loyal subjects.

Green...

I don't think that as the Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, that I quite have the authority to command Letterman, Leno, or any of those other chaps to do anything.

Oh come now - as everybody knows - if you were the Queen of Britain, you wouldn't be able to implement any of these things cos she is completely useless and is only wheeled out on display for events of interest only to themselves. What kind of an influence can you possibly expect her to wield?! :D

Just a bad joke that came across even worse, Grigory and Todd. :o  Just extrapolating a bit....and boy, did I have a bad hangover this morning.

So Todd...are you trying to say that the royal family should do everyone a favor and lop off their own heads???

Left two Electronic t-shirts on the train once, one longsleeve and one short sleeve.

Dont ask me how but i did (very very drunk!) caught the next train back to london & in my drunken haze i even tried to catch my original train on the return journey home.

Never got the t-shirts back despite anyway phoning up the lost property office.. no joy, went up to Paddington to the main office and filling in countless forms etc.

Nothing worse than losing a t-shirt purchased from a gig i can tell u :(

I'm reminded of the words of Lord Tennyson, former poet laurete: "God save the Queen/the fascist regime/that made you a moron/a potential H-bomb"

Well, if he isn't here to answer it for himself, allow me give you the affirmative on that one then. Unequivocally....yes. Now wouldn't that be a spectable in itself? Golden Jubilee Day will do just fine, thanks very much! :)

I've slept out at a few train stations over the years after NO gigs and not being able to get home. London Paddington twice, its not bad and pretty warm. Manchester Picadilly which was freezing even in June and Cologne on the way back from Dusseldorf.

Though if they do play Glastonbury again I'm thinking of getting a B&B this time!

I've spent the last 4 years perfecting "The Barney Voice" and have recently begun work on "The Ian Voice"

If a given situation warrants the use of a NewOrder song. I will take any measures needed to make it happen. For example: On the jet home to go on leave from the Marines, I had to listen to Love Vigilantes.

I play piano, and I've arranged a 'classical' sounding version of Regret. I'll see about getting it on here when I actually get my own computer with all the bells and whistles and such.

About 90% of all the women I've dated and even the majority of women I'm attracted in kind of have the 'Gillian-look' Short to shoulder length dark brown or black hair, brown eyes, fair skin. Coincidence? I think not.

Hey Jason, e-mail me your address so I can mail you that Paradiso tape. I am no longer in danger of finacial decay, so I can afford the 35 cents needed.

I probably could nail Ian, I have a kind of baritone voice....

Margate 84 we slept behind the venue at this quiet spot on the seafront. Not recommended !

Originally posted by Green Did buy a Bundeswehr (hope I spelled that right!) T-shirt back in 83, which some girl borrowed and never returned. Not very freaky, I know, but it's the only time that I can recall buying a piece of clothing after I saw a pop star wearing it.To make matters worse, this girl still has the infamous If It Ain't Stiff, It Ain't Worth A F*ck shirt.

Oh dear, I had one of those Bunderwehr vests too. Very classy. And, must confess, wandered into a very dodgy Army Surplus store in Perth this weekend just gone to enquire as to whether they had any of those Vietnam T's "Kill 'Em All, Let God Sort 'Em Out". They didn't, alas. Can't remember the last time I'd even SEEN an Army Surplus store, mind. Think they all went defunkt in the UK in the mid-80's!!!

Two rather obsessive things: 1)When I play squash, I swing my racquet really low around my ankles like a certain bass-player. It could be the main reason why I haven't cracked it for a tournament victory. 2) Whenever I go to a fancy dress party, I go as one of those weird motherfuckers from the True Faith film clip. DR

And yet, perhaps he did. I was a little worried when I saw Taboo's recounting of his dream about the dumpsters. Or are necrophilia jokes too disgusting for even this board? :nonono:
