For me Turn is in a class of its own. Nothing comes close to it on WFTSC.

I feel exactly the same way.
I think Who's Joe is a really strong song. It's sounds like New Order but it's a bit different for them as well. They should open with it at Brixton and Manchester.

Not at all. A perfect opener, despite what Hooky says.

spot on - it blew me away when i first heard it and i still think it's fookin awesome.
WFTSC and Turn are both v.good, although they took a couple of plays to grow on me.
but "Who's Joe" is daddy number 1.

Oh yes
Bloody GREAT.Did you know that since we last met up SHUGZV is now wearing LONG PANTS!:D
lets face it its a great album, full of future classics: turn, wftsc, krafty, hey joe, guilt, just to mention a few of my current favs.
a good song, but not one of the best on WFTSC. it beats working overtime, morning night and day and dracula's castle; but not WFTSC, turn, krafty or GIAUE.
I love the song "Who's Joe?" as well, too. I wouldn't call it a "masterpiece" or anything, but still, off the Waiting for the Sirens' Call album, it's one of the best songs on there. I got a sentimental feeling listening to this song; I almost cried when I heard it for the first time.
Whats that growling sound at the end of the track? I keep thinking a demon is going to jump out of the player.

I bet Neil Tennant cried as well.

I'm with you on this one.
Barney's vocals are strenuous and although I like the guitar riffs it's an uninspiring song in my opinion.

JOE JOE is a MAN?Who thought he was a WOMAN!![]()
Joe has no genitalia...
It's Joe
I think Barney was duped in a club in San Fran one night.
Thus the song.

This is kind of stupid, but, most of the names(maybe all, I don't know) that appear in New Order songs start with a "J"!? Joelene(however you spell it)- "Paradise" Johnny- "1963" Joe- "Who's Joe?"
I absolutely love Who's Joe, it's my favourite song on an album that contains 4 or 5 classics. Like someone else said, it has that New Order quality that no other band has. It makes NO unique, and means they can still write brilliant songs like WJ, WFTSC, Hey Now..., Krafty, Turn, etc. I hope next year's album is anywhere near this good.
Who's Joe is a classic NO album opener.
Thought it a bit silly though having a track which goes 'Hey Joe what you're doing..?' as its first line then following it with 'Hey Now What You Doing?'

Hmmm...interesting observation there...
I still think "Who's Joe?" is one of the best songs on that album, though.
My favourite definitely - it's up there with their classics. I cant belive that some people think Krafty is a great track though- for me one of the weakest NO singles

"Krafty" isn't as bad as "Jetstream", but still, I think that New Order should have different songs from that album to be singles. I mean, "Krafty" and "Jetstream"? If I had the choice, I would have chosen either "Who's Joe?", "Hey now what you doing" or "Guilt is a useless emotion" as a single instead.
