I was wandering if the guy who won the magazine competition to appear in the ruined in a day video was on this site? I remember the magazine saying he was a big fan, but in another one I thought i read that he had said he couldn't care less about it. i think the qualifying question was pretty tough however.....

if you could appear in a NO video which one would it be and who/what would you have wanted to be ?

Is that the guy who popped out behind Steve, took the snapshot, and ducked back out and never showed up again?

I always thought that the Run video would have been thrice as fantastic if the scenes with the old man in the street had some random bum in footie shorts, an overly-long Technique tour t-shirt, and a Reni/Madchester boonie cap out of focus in the background, incoherently acid house dancing for the duration of the video. And I think that i'd be just the man for such a role, me or Bez.

I also wouldn't have minded being one of those shifty types the kid in WFTSC runs into after dark, though i'd insist that i'd have to be wearing a t-shirt that specfically says "Tonight, I Am Like Bitch"

I like the TBTHOG video but it lacks atmosphere as there is no audience present (just a smoke machine working overtime). I think the video would have had far more affect with a real audience and I would have liked to have been a member of that audience. Especially seeing Gillian in her fishnet stockings up close.:thumb:

If I were in it lead vocal or playing bass properly : not like that spectacled Osbourne lokkeylikey.

Fantastic video anyhow. Possibly all time fave vid.

I've always thought for some reason that that was Keith Allen. Does anybody know more about that competion?

As for vids I'd have to go for Run for the full live drug experience.

Have to agree with you there. TPK is one of my favourite videos, the way they give just an amazing powerful performance and then at the end they are just emotionless! Amazing!

in the 1963 video, i would like to have had a role of gaffa taping that box up, stoppng the stupid bint getting out, then setting fire to it. now that would have been a much more entertaining video.

I really wanted to win that competition at the time.

It was in a magazine (uk music magazine that might not be around anymore), and barney was wearing a grey suit! on the cover.

Actually, my choices for video's would be roughly the same, It would have been cool to be in the backgound for TPK video and walk on stage at the slow end bit in TBTHOG.

I wouldn't want to be the boy with the moustache and the white socks dancing in the confusion video....

I'd like to be in the "Confusion" video, although I probably wouldn't like wearing disco shorts.

I'd love to be in Round & Round. All those ladies were so pretty. :)
