New Elegia Remix on Saville colorcalm DVD

Anyone else picked this up yet?

Saville provides two chapters based around a single colourfield changing hue to the backing of the full length Elegia and the Elegia Terranova mix, which is really just an atmosphere piece with samples of Elegia spliced into it.

It's all very, erm, calming, artsy and a touch new age.

I'd always considered Elegia quite a dark, foreboding tune.

It depends what you're into. There are other pieces by Sakamoto, Nyman, etc. I'd imagine it wouldn't be as compelling for the football hooligan element of the fan base.

Consider it this way. If you're ever invited to a soiree in Washington, it's the sort of thing your host might play for guests on his new 52" HD screen while the canapes and Chateauneuf glasses are circulating.

Just run with the sky blue hues and a little Sakamoto, OB. They seem to be the most relaxing combination!

I ordered mine from the official site. Paid a few notes more, but that cheaper site had a hint of dodginess about it.

more of a cab merlot merlot fan, but i don't mind the occaisional shiraz. we got some good plok here in oz.

so a bit of a poser record. will i give it a miss, or do i have to get it for the sake of completenes. question questions.

and endless screeings of police academy movies. that comes pretty close to hell. give me alcohol and lots of it to survive that hell. i don't know what's worse a popous git or someone with dubious taste. possibly someone who combines both and just happens to be our host. hell.
