does anybody know where it was filmed. My latest guess is a ship's cargo hold.

I haven't a clue where it was filmed either. You're referring to the video, right? I like the video, but I'm sorry, I don't have the answer to your question.

The live act part of the video has to be shot in Glastonbury 87. It was the first time that they have played live and according to the filming dates that we can see on the "NO story video" it was the only date in 1987 that matches. All other concerts were they've played True faith were after August 87. Also according to the "NO story" DVD, in the inner sleeve it refers to the choreography parts of video to be filmed in Paris.

I see where you're going with a ship's hold there. To me parts of it look like a partially constructed building ( but then again, you know those frogs and cool buildings, it may have been up for years and just LOOK half built), and other parts are either a dressed set/stage or a dressed bit of the same building. I'd be inclined to think it's a stage (I mean the "arena" set here) purely because of the quality and evenness of the lighting.

Not my fave NO video as everyone's in it except Hooky, who's knee features for a few frames. No loss really since he was practically muted on the final release mix anyway ( I used to have a picture of Mr Hague on my dartboard for that one).

TF's video has been a great thing for NO, much like "wynona's big brown beaver" was for primus. People enjoy the video and watch for that reason, and the song sort of insinuates itself into their brains. The only thing outstanding in NO or primus doing it is that they achieved the interest without showing a whole pile of tits and sweaty chicks/blokes. But for my money TPK is the finest pop video ever made, it is perfection, a band, in a room, playing their tune live , any questions?
