Evenin' folks Don't suppose any of you good people know if there's a copy (bootleg or official) of the Hitman and Her at the Hacienda available? DVD, Video or Download any format will do. I've had a mooch around for it and no sign anywhere.

Clive was dreamy...er I mean no of course not! All I remember from when it was aired was Waterman looking constantly puzzled as he tried to announce what was playing and the sad fools in ties who were more used to HMAH being in some shithole in Warrington looking terrified of all the sweating E-Heads who resented them being there. C'mon admit it, you're curious about it yerself now.

I had it on tape but it was liberated and worn to a ribbon by one of my mates. those of you who are familliar with the shiteman and whore, but who didn't see the hacienda show, may not know of imprtant differences in that particular episode...

No extra lights for TV no say in music policy (so instead if the london buys and Sonia, there was dance music) No mics into the club PA no stage for the gimps BM(83) video got played on it! And all the stupid games had to be performed outside the toilets.

instead of a whole pile of shiney gimp bastards dancing to kylie, in a big bright school assembly hall, it was a pitch black room wth a strobe, full of mental cases barney dancing on podia.

I wish I still had my tape, there was some good music that night, unlike every other single episode.

The night they filmed that was cause for a near riot outside, loads of people turned up leading to police with dogs arriving to control them etc. Quite a scene!

Any chance someone could ask Clive if he's got a copy then? The things ya gotta do eh? From what I can gather, more people have seen clips from that night than know it. Apparantly it's the only quality film of any Acid period club available and is now used as stock footage. A bit of clever editing and no-one knows that the place is half full of knobs with ducks on their ties and white towelling socks. Waterman got given grief cos he was wearing leather kecks, which given that 3 years later the place was full of em is almost ironic innit? No? Just me thinks that? Suit yerselves.
