I think he's the only person to be included twice on the mosaics outside Affleck's Palace. Although one of them is Steve Coogan in 24HPP.

all well and good... but this thread needs a parallel reflection, that credits the presence, input and counterpoint of Rob Gretton to many of the decisions/attributes being credited to Tony Wilson and Factory.

It's at least a 5 leaf clover of Erasmus/Gretton/Hannett/Saville/Wilson, to say nothing of Penny Henry, Alan Wise and others.

(bearing in mind that 24 Hour Party People is a work of fiction)

this is very true, especially since that flippin movie heaps all that is bad at his door. but Rob and Martin have fucked off to drink with Ian, Erasmus has been trying to disown factory since about 1984 as far as i can tell, saville's an artist so his brain isn't even wired right :)

Tony's the one who's looking shifty these days, and the one everyone is SO fucking keen to blame for everything.

I think we OWE tony.
