Guilt CDs on Ebay

Copies on ebay for £9.99 - arseholes. They admit they are copies too.

Infringement of copyright?

Fair enough if you're not making any money off them, but either 9.99 'Buy It Now' or 4.99 'Buy It Now' is taking the piss, me thinks... Maybe 50p 'Buy It Now' would be more reasonable? :p

I only think copyright is an issue when people can buy it legitimately.

Ebay seems the only way to get it for UKers; as we've all been fcuked over in the UK with the digital release.

I doubt that, copyright laws are extremely complex, basicly, if you do something with the material that the publishers don't like, you're fucked, even the lyrics and notation can't be printed without permission.

What I mean is, is that I doubt anyone will be arsed to sue seeing as the UK market have been deprived the release... but who knows, you could be right...

These people want reporting to ebay.

Theres still half a dozen sellers flogging those dodgy someone like you and krafty promos,there supposed to be from radio 1 hannover but are just boots.

The different sellers "apparently" come from all over europe but in actual fact the cds are all posted from russia/belarus.

I have no problem in naming and shaming these dodgy dealers,they aren't doing regular ebayers any favours and therefore must be stopped!

Those guys that sell cdrs of the legit promos must be stopped at all costs,they are just taking the piss and ripping people off! :evil:

I reported citysneak to ebay on Saturday or Sunday. I was going to report it to Warners, but couldn't get an email address to report it to.

I don't want to appear all pious about it, its just this B@st@rd outbid me for the cd he/she's now selling copies of.

I think that the Barsnley boy probably can't afford the buy it now option so has decided to turn into a super grass, the damm cd has only been releases in America so how else do New Order fans get there hands on it. Personally i don't care about the price and am very grateful to the guy/girl who was selling them, i think you lot whinging about it has put whoever off selling them, lets hope no more hard to find tracks don't get released in America as down to you plonkers we'll probably not get chance to buy them.

There are other means to get hold of a CDR copy as opposed to lining other people's pockets for what is essentially a 25p CDR, you know... :)

Fair comment, i was watching one of those cds though and wouldn't of give a shite about paying £4.99 for it,it's now gone. I went to a dclub when HOOKY was on the decks around amonth ago & people where getting BOOTLEG cds of live gigs signed by him & he didn't give a monkeys. The person who has reported the seller wants to get a grip in my opinion, if hooky's not arsed why should anybody else be? The seller doesn't force the buyer to bid or buy so there isn't an argument for the RIPPING PEOPLE OFF quote.

I wouldn't accept it as fact that NO don't give a rat's about illegal copies just because Hooky signed some live boots at a gig.

We've heard from both their management and Bernard himself before that they are concerned about the issue.

Having said that, Warner are asking for trouble if they're only going to issue singles as digital downloads and exclusive to one market. It's nonsense.

Its wankers like you who buy these snide copies off ebay and spoil it for the rest of us,i mean cant you afford the genuine article? There has been plenty of opportunity to buy them from ebay,in fact there are still a few on their now.

As for turning supergrass, if you bought as much stuff from ebay as i do then you should know that what these people are doing is imoral and downright illegal so i have no hesitation in reporting these people to ebay .
