Broad Street's the best part of Brum to go if I remember rightly (not far from Brum New St). All thats where all the 'trendys' go (so obviously theres no actual Brummies there...)

I don't know about Tamworth but have you ever been to Redditch. Now that really is a shithole. Spent a couple of years working there - made Slough look good.

when I was a student in birmingham saw the pixies supporting the throwing muses in a night club on broad street. was brilliant, the stage was in the middle of the floor so you could run from behind the drums right to the front of the stage! wicked. also saw the inspirals on broad street in a 200 capacity venue.

Do Chembo's / Chelmsley Wood folk (before i get told off) have plums in their gob too seing as that's 'Solihull'? - as soon as i typed that i knew the answer - usually!

COventry's wank as well. Go a bit further south East of Solihull there you'll find the very pleasant Warwick and Leamington - scene of my upbringing....and no brummie accents there whatsoever...
