Beat me by four minutes!

Times Change, I like that song. Though I have no idea what it's about. Any ideas?

In all (semi-) seriousness, I think it's Feel Every Beat. Sure, the lyrics are throw away, but the song's very catchy and doesn't seem to take itself seriously, unlike Times Change.

Wow...Barney rapping makes me cringe but I agree with Blue-Eyed Boy...Feel Every Beat is a fun song so the rapping fits.

It's gotta be Feel Every Beat.. I second that, cos it's so brillantly crap it's hysterical.

'The image of a mother in a violent birth'.. I mean COME ON!, it puts 50 Cent to shame..lol

you mean Barney had a good rap-John Barnes on "WIM" sounds much better than dear old Bernard-and Jon sucks, no flow at all!!

i think Idiot Country is full of Wah Wah geetar, nice!! :thumb:Never been big on Rap.mostly cos its annoying posturing toss..at least with Barney "its a signal,a sign...it means am doing what am doing, cos I do it all the time":shades: :brow:  Better than Barnsy(John Barns) tho:uhoh:

I did vote for Idiot Country as well..

I chose "Idiot Country", although "Feel Every Beat" was good, too. Bernard's "rap" always comes across as cutesy and adorable, though. It's never overly macho or threatening sounding like real rap.

Indeed. That's why it's not bad - because Barney isn't pretending to be a thug. I've often wondered what would happen if "Gangster" or "Feel Every Beat" was played on a top 40/rap station.

Voted Idiot Country. I Told You So I suppose could be considered as light reggae/dancehall which is where rap was supposed to have it's original roots.

You'll probably have the rap listeners going, "WTF?" or something. Even worse, some might call him a "sissy". (I can imagine some thug-like, super-macho men thinking that, though, because any man will look like a sissy to those kinds of thuggish men.)

I dunno it's more like the demented mumblings of an old fella rocking in his chair really :)

I must admit it makes me cringe, yet, as ever, I keep listening to those tracks (not the electronic ones, I'm a bit blehhhh about electronic bar about 3 tunes)

Check mail Yer hotmail JH BTW, important things must be known (that's if I'm not SO off the xmas card list for my part in last night's unpleasantness) :D

Only 3 people get christmas cards from me:

mum, dad, girlfriend. i know that sounds harsh on the rest of the huge family, but it has to be done.

to be honest, i did think of changing it to steve campbell, mum, dad, girlfriend...but then you let me down last night :evil4:

I like Times Change just |--| that much more than FEB. I find myself listening to it just before I put UB40's Kingston Town on my playlist. They go oddly well together.

My dear Leanne (she's not really a proper GF, just my cosmic other half), has 3 brothers, all useless little homer simpsons, and a useless dad too. Xmas is not a time of joy for her...having to buy brother 1's present's for mum, dad, herself, his GF, brother's 2 and 3 and their GF's etc. then repeat the excercise for all the others.

Last year she bought something in the order of 60-70 presents, and she only has 2 friends she gives a fuck about, me and some bloke in England she talks to online (and if he's anyone here I wanna know :) )

her ideal career? I asked her Personal shopper FFS (would anyone hazard a guess at her hair colour?)

EDIT:  at myself for the thought that just floated into my head....Xmas morning: "Bass strings...wow thanks dad" "nice one sone, bass strings" (pissed off looks all round....females giggle) ...could the ubiquity of socks be under threat :D
