Actually Mick, I'd describe 'Closer' as textured, sombre, yet beautiful. Don't forget, the Factory original album sleeves (and CDs) were printed on 'feathered' card...

You probably mean Manneken Pis which, in Brussels'slang, means "the pissing little boy".
.
There are many legends about Manneken Pis. One of them is that of a little boy who saved Brussels from a huge fire by urinating on the flames.
Another one says that a little boy was found by a witch urinating on her house wall at the corner of the Rue de l'Etuve in what would become the historical centre of Brussels. She put a spell on him, which petrified him and turned him slowly into a statue. Yet, it's too late to reverse the spell as we know for sure that the original statue was replaced in 1619 by a new one made by Jérôme Duquesnoy. It's still located at the corner of the Rue de l'Etuve.
The date of erection of the first statue (I mean: the date when the statue was erected, not its penis) remains unknown, but it is already mentionned in documents from the 14th century as "Juliaenekensborre", i.e., "fountain of Little Julian".
To go back on topic: that's how I would describe the artwork for Technique too. (Who says he's playing with his pleasure zone?)
Movement: relief(that there'd be more music)
PC&L: dinner at grandparents (she would always have a centerpiece arrangement)

Republic: incongruity
Best of New Order: spilled water
