Which NO song made you a fan....?
I loved a few NO songs and even LWTUA; at the time not being aware that NO were the new JD...
In '86 I realised that NO had done Temptation, BM, State of the Nation and a couple of other crackers...
When '86's SHELLSHOCK came out that was it. I decided that's one good song too many (yes, yes; I know most of you hate it) and I decided to get into NO properly.
Which song tipped you into fandom?
same answer as in the what was your first new order song thread, subculture 12", we all thought it was just soo cool. I then went out to get Low Life, PC&L etc, and i haven't looked back since.
Have to be boring and say True Faith. Although it coulld have been Age of consent, Dreams never end, Bizarre Love Triangle or 1963... basically the first few songs on the best of.

Jeezz ... those 40 or so minutes, back on that Saturday teatime in OCTOBER 1983 listening to Power ,Corruption And Lies for the very first time are still resonating down the years even NOW!!!!!!
It's not really one song, it's a mixed tape.
I knew BLT, True Faith and Blue Monday, but I didn't knew New Order, so in 1990, the co-webmaster of this website gave me a mixed tape.. it took me a while to love everything, but I was listening to those tracks very often, and adding 1 by 1... until I actually enjoyed all of them.

Was the blt version on substance for me. My mate kept playing it over and over again, i borrowed the tape ,i liked it that much that i went out and bought the entire back catalog,the rest is history! I had heard bm and tf , and can even remember hearing my dads vinyl of lwtua when i was a snotty nosed kid! I also liked true faith as well,bought the 7 inch,but was substance what did it!

Temptation on Substance was the song which changed me from liking them to becoming the sad obsessed bastard you's know and love today.....and like Nuts, I dread to think how much money I've spent touring and buying their goods. Which is probably the reason I am always skint 
wasn't a single song really...a friend of mine made me a copy of low-life when i was 14. It was so different and exciting that I became obsessed.
Ceremony - it came out at a pretty poor time for music in the UK and the original three person mix was much more powerful than the one with Gillian, imho. When they played Temptation at Riverside in Jan 82, you just knew they were going to be a great band in their own right.
true faith. i first saw the video on MTV in 1987 and fell in love at first sight (or first listen, as the case may be).
Crystal. I had heard Blue Monday before - mostly to hear what the original of the Orgy song sounded like - but I heard Crystal on the radio. The bassline, the shimmering synth line, and the smooth vocals instantly hooked me.
The Perfect Kiss video on TV at about 14. Then the Round and Round and FIne TIme videos.
At that time them and Public ENemy just made everything else sound redundant.
TPK...first record I ever bought...and the 12" version is still one of my favorites of all time.
Ceremony - when I first heard (via John Peel) that it had finally been released after the waiting since I.C. was gone.
Bought the 7" then the 12" and have loved New Order ever sice. Never thought I'd like them as much as JD, but that's life...
