:confused2:

I thought your Dad was Hooky?

I would imagine that he could help you out... unless they are still reliving the Hacienda tradition of even band members having to pay on the door.

If you'd offer a swap for a back stage pass i'm sure someone would take you up on it.

How about tickets for one of your gigs?

Let's say this breaks a urban legend on the money of kids with famous dads

Hope you manage to get some tickets together Jack, surely your Dad can do something? The guest list for MancAid must be huge considering the local talent involved. Also, if your friends are really wanting to come then surely they should be paying for any tickets and not yourself?

At 96 quid (which is what I paid in total for two standing) it's probably going to be hard to find a soul that generous to donate a couple for absolutely nothing.

But good luck, you never know...

Can't see why there should be a guest list for any charity event. Guaranteed tickets yes - but someone, not necessarily the individual, should be paying for them.

There won't ne one, except a paying list. Otherwise they'd make exactly zero £££.

I can't see much talent, £50 rip off, however i do support the charity :thumb:

That's just it but guys, whatever guests list IS available will be severely curtailed because of the number of bands playing...if you give each band 50 places, before you know it you've pissed 2-3 grand away on liggers. I'm quite sure Hooky would help our Jack out of he could, but the fact of the matter is that NO are one band among many, and they probably had to submit their guest list LONG ago (which given their Apollo daftness, probably means no guests for them at all cos they're too lazy).

Jack, maybe you and one of the techs could turf yer passes out the bog window to your mate....and stay put till he arrives to deliver them back.

Or..... "dad, can I have £100 for sweets?" no?

I'm still waiting for the band to forward me tix and air fare for their WFTSC tour. Life's tough all over.

The irony of all this is that I now have a spare ticket if someone would like to make me a reasonable offer.

Yep, the trains were the last straw. That and the 20 min JD set.

I wouldn't travel 17 hour round trip to watch 90 minutes of football, so 20 minutes of JD parody really ain't gonna captivate me.
