don't feel bad bud, i'm going to wait also for the cd to arrive at my door, it i'll be worth the wait, and we won't have to spend time worried about whether we have "the copy" or not...so why sweat over it 
Well...I finally got them downloaded...and I like it...I like it a lot!!!!
but the full length vocal sure does sound like revenge to these ears...not that I think that is a bad thing...
and in my own honest frigging opinion...this is better than anything off of Get Ready...even my beloved RTS...or Crystal!!!
it's alright...but perhaps i'm just not quite as impressed since i've only heard a rather low-quality version. i'm sure more bits will stick with me when i've heard a higher quality version. :D
it's not bad, though...and the chorus does indeed make you wanna sing along. as many a good pop-type song will do.
final verdict has not yet been reached. but i don't hate it, which is a plus. :)

Here To Stay is nothing special. That percussion bit is cheap and awful and would have sounded out of date 20 years ago. The only good thing is the chorus.

:D:D:D Just taken delivery of a promo 'Here to Stay' 12" featuring the Extended instrumental which is actually quite a lot better than the original. Only downside is, it doesn't have any of the vocal at all. The start is much the same but then after some playful whooshes and whoops the bass leads hauntigly into the track and features more fx, delay and reverb (I think). It flows into a gorgeous tingly/tinkly breakdown more synths and whooshes and also some phased shards of guitar come in as it builds up again, soooooooopoirb.:D:D:D

BTW Not completely convinced about the single version yet. Disappointed that Hooky's been softened in the mix, Barney's out of key.. Plus I prefer the phatter old-skool Chemicals production. Some nice bits though, for sure.
Mr Charge it could be winging it's way to you for about £22.00, I'd imagine the International postage is a bit mnore than I paidtry here, quickly
