Looking through my records which are packed away on a shelf, I found Subculture 12" complete with an A4 sheet from the promotional company. Knowing the considered view of this release, I thought it might entertain.

New Order sub culture remix: dub vulture remix:
two remixes of the latest single from New Order, both handled by john robie, who should be well known to you for his mixing/programming work with freeez c-bank and arthur baker generally.
the two sids of this 12" have distinctly different remixes of subculture which change a lot whilst leaving the song instantly recognisable. the first side has some very recognisable john robie flourishes and soundds which add a new dimension to what was already a fast growing favourite plus some extremely slick and tricky edits which could easily throw you off if you were not expecting them. the first time you play this remix you may well think that the stylus has stuck. it hasn't. this is an excellent song which you should play a lot and probably will.
the second side and second mix hereby renamed dub vulture is much more instrumental with some even stranger vocal drum and instrumental treatments and a very impressive and creative use of dropouts and edits adding up to another version that you will have to play a lot. as this is exactly what you will want to do there will obviously be no problem. listen out for the ending.
the new remixes of subculture are now yours to play and enjoy. please do so.
Merry Christmas.
