Does any one know what MTO means? I am guessing 'much too old', the reverse of 'much too young' to be a part of me? from fac 183 fine time?

How about these?

Make-To-Order? Mid Term Objective? Message To Observer? Mission Tasking Order? Member Telephoned Office? Modernization Transition Ombudsman? Mediterranean Theater of Operations? Ministry of Transportation of Ontario?

Face facts, I don't think anyone knows the answer - perhaps bar the band themselves.

its a bit like the I.C.B. question? but i'm pretty sure that its 'much too old'.what about i.c.b. then? somebody once told me it meant ian curtis buried but this seems really corny to me

in thoroughbred horse racing it means "main track only" which means that the horse in question will only run on the main (dirt) track if the race (in this case, it is on grass) comes off the grass due to rain...

now how many others out there know this???

I too have heard that ICB means Ian Curtis Buried. If you listen to Movement, you will notice how they keep mentioning "The Him". Pretty cryptic. Thanks for the answer.

My old mate Petey (some of you may know him from gigs years back) reckoned it was "Inter Continental Ballistics", but then again he usually talked a load of ballistics.

I always thought we'd get along like a house on fire. Oh no sorry. I always thought it was "Ian Curtis Buried", but what the whatever do I know ?

Stephen Morris always insisted it stood for "Ice Cream Bandit".

So what? Since when has that fact influenced his musings, theories or decisions??!! :D :D

I'm a drummer too, but that doesn't necessarily mean I'm insane either!!!

So he has a thing for ice cream, it's well known. He talks about it to his tanks whilst flicking through copies of teletext pages he has screen grabbed and then photocopied. I read it in a magazine, I don't want to see it again.
