Bit of a deja Vu post you've made, so as promised I'll pull me finger out and reply to a few more than of late. There are quite a few lerkers on here who've actually been inside a nightclub, but I for one wouldn't be so quick as to own up to liking the Pet Shoppies. So I'd echo your list minus them and with the proviso that it was only early Human League. Also not the 'Southern Fried' Primal Scream varient. Plus these: Chemical Brothers One Dove World of Twist Stone Roses Leftfield Underworld 'Boy's Own' Productions in general Way Out West Bedrock Hooj Chicanes' first album(not as embarrasing as PSB's) Disco- Sylvester, Moroder,Chic, Kool and the Gang Nu Yorican Soul Funk Chill Out Soul Motown Hendrix

Nu Yorican Soul are flappin' class!!

Ditto Motown

Smiths (Johnny Marr, guitar genius) Stone Roses (dance meets rock) U2 (annoys me that they are so successful, New Order could have done the same on a major label and more promotion) Smashing Pumpkins (loud, good lyrics) David Bowie (check his Heroes era stuff) Radiohead (only pablo honey / bends albums though) Suede (Smiths knock off, v.good though) Royksopp (dance guys from Scandinavia, great stuff) Ash (these guys rock hard, i really rate them, have done JD/New order sounding stuff in the past)
