Joy Division Documentary - Contributions wanted (apparently)

Got this bulletin in my MySpace t'interweb thingy. Haven't noticed any other reference to it yet on NOOL so thought I'd post as there are sure to be plenty people here with something to contribute. Apologies in advance if it turns out to be bollocks - don't shoot the messenger and all that

I am working on the pre production of what is set to be very exciting and groundbreaking documentary on which we would love your input. Let me tell you a bit about the project - The Documentary will be directed by Grant Gee and written by Jon Savage, all the surviving band members are signed up as well as all the key protagonists from the band's story including Peter Saville, Tony Wilson, etc. The documentary is for worldwide distribution; TV, Video and theatrical release

For now we are interested in the following:

Your archives - we know how precious these are to you and understand just how priceless they are - what we would love is a list of everything you have and what you will allow us to take footage of?

Your knowledge - in particular do you know of any recording - audio and or video of the band talking.

Also back in 1979-1980 the NME letters page had a ‘vigorous debate’ going on as to whether JD were Nazis (or not). We would love to see this do you know anyone who was involved in this?

The big Joy Division sell-out!!?? Surely that came with "Still"??? Or with "Substance" and the re-release of "Atmosphere"? Or "Permanent"? Or with Wilson's endlesss self-promotion after Ian's little accident?

Or, INDEED, with the profane outrage that was the decision of the so-called BERNARD, STEVEN and PETER (white devils, all of them!) to continue playing musical instruments and 'singing' after the demise of the great and holy JESUS CURTIS.

Jon Savage is a very credible writer and has worked with New Order in the past. I think he was involved with "New Order Story" video.

The documentary should be good if he is involved.
