Barney can't win, can he? Criticised for not sounding like Ian, criticised for doing so... These Days has sounded great on this tour, better, in my opinion, than some of the 'rockier' JD songs they do now...
I agree.

I completely agree with Gene on this one.
Ian's voice just ruins the original I think, like he was trying to sing it in some sort of spooky high-pitched way; it just doesn't work.
Barney singing it in a more regular pitch shows what a great tune it is.
Only my opinion tho'![]()
Also,when I see/hear N.O. playing J.D. songs,all I see/hear is N.O. playing J.D songs,they lose everything from the originals completely,but get the N.O. ,updated,reinterpretation treatment over them,which gives them a different appeal & just great to hear again

These Days-from the clip I saw on YouTube-was one of the best performances of a JD song they've done.
Whatever happened to Isolation?
if they played Isolation, old Phil would have to play keyboards. We all know how much he loves his big guitars. I think that NO dont do heart and soul anymore for the same reason. Phil doesnt like to play keyboards,
Boy, I am uneccesarily mean to Phil arent I?
really, Phil actually seems like a nice guy. He and I made funny faces at each other during BLT at the Chicago 05 show.
