Most Dispensable NewOrder Item?

This is an archived legacy thread. Replies are closed, but the discussion is preserved.

Your hypothetically packing up your worldly possesions and moving to pastures anew.

Try as you might you cannot quite squeeze in every piece of your treasured NewOrder collection into your luggage.

Forced against your will you finally relent and admit you will have to leave one item/record behind.

So what is it to be??

Shellshock in any shape or form

The ruined in a day mix CD with the bogle mixes on. :\puke:

I should add that, for example if you only have a track you dislike on an album then the album gets ousted!! - ie: Shellshock could potentially mean leaving behind LowLife....... :\ohwell:

Gillian Gilbert

That 12" of Confusion remixes on Minimal Records. Currently in my loft with another 12" of dust on it. Free to a good home if anyone wants it.

12" version of WIM - still shrinkwrapped for fear that if it were ever opened it might get played.

Well, I'd be alright then, I wouldn't be leaving lowlife at home 'cos Shellshock isn't on it ;)

Surely the obvious choice to leave behind en-route to a particularly well deserved vacation is the hit early eighties Long Playing album 'Movements' ... sounding not unlike a fork being dragged across a tin of mackerel. Other than that the latter half of the hit nineties album 'The Republican' really shouldn't be on anyones holiday itinerary list. A filth-laden set of songs from deep beneath the earths crusts.

I have no immediate holiday plans at the moment and wouldn't even think to consider playing 'The Movements' album - unless I was really wanting to feel a little under the weather, after all, it is somewhat depressing.

Agreed - two below average long-players in the context of the other albums. Pigs Trotter, your writing style is awfully familiar.... CTB

maybe not ... i had to focus on some delicate paperwork at the time of going to press and the quality went a bit horses arses. truth be told i had to write the entire passage twice because of a technical hitch and the first one was far superior.

can't i start again?

:hat:

damn scruffbox couldn't spot humour if it smacked him in the beak.
