My mate Darren picked up 2 CD's for me today - which leaves me The Les Baines Douches to complete my "Immaculate Collection" He bought me The Joy Division BBC Recordings and New Order Peel Sessions - he's a good lad!

Gotta say today was the first time I had listened to the New Order Peel Sessions for donkeys years- fuck me! I forgot how good Too Late was:nonono: and although Barney's singing sounds very 'vulnerable' - it just adds to that moment in time;) Brilliant. Both CD's have been remastered and they sound a helluva lot clearer than me scratched records:lol: Hearing 24 hours so neat and tidy was fookin ace as was Sound of Music - Barney's guitar on that one always cheers me up, and makes me want to hear more:nod: £11 each - but still a bargain:thumb:

...and i have to say, having the one thing you're missing...Les Bains Douches is REALLY worth getting. as though you didn't already know, but...it absolutely floored me to listen to the first time through.

particularly wonderful for someone too young to have had the opportunity to go and see them play, such as myself. :D

That's a good price for 12 pounds of nutmeg.
